DBS refuses to provide points breakdown

On my request to provide points breakdown got following reply

How most politely tell them that this response is utter BS and they need to do their ***** jobs?

Actually I don't see why there is need to ask for point breakdown unless you are missing points.

If banks like citibank can do it for you, why shouldn't we expect the same with DBS? You're the consumer after all.

Honestly, that's not a bank job right? If everyone is asking for breakdown wouldn't it be too troublesome?

We shouldn't expect to be spoon feed for free...

Rewards get gao gao...but service wants for free..anyway I may be wrong, but when we sign for the card is providing breakdown part of the services promised by the bank?

i seemed to have some trouble calculating the points. can i just check that starhub bill payment is still 10x points? it says starhub bill epayment.

As mentioned citibank (and uob) are reporting the points at the same day (or close to it) and can easily be accessed through ibanking.

And DBS already have those breakdown information(it's still a bank afterall where every cent are accountable), they just decide not to tell us.

If you don't voiced your concern as a customer then there will be no incentive for them to improve

One day the banks will say "We are not providing line by line items of your credit card and savings account statements, if you feel theres a discrepancy then tell us".

On a more serious note, just show them your own calcs and they will provide it to you. I have never failed to get a breakdown each time I ask. In fact UOB is worse than DBS, to get a breakdown they will need to send paper letter to you cos they don't even have secured messaging. Talk abt which bank is most backwards lol.

lucky UOB miles is normally very straightaway like PPV and PRVI miles will be given at the time of transaction posted and UOB Visa Signature is easy to check by using the sum transaction in the statement/5 * 9

Just anyhow say one transaction off..

I got the same reply but complain like mad through all channels and they tied a person to my account to check all points are in order which is a bitch now when I think of it as they spying on my transactions now. He even emailed me using his DBs email to tell me he will be going to reservist and told me it wouldn't affect me much based on my spending pattern as I don't spend much during this period..don't know good or bad

according to the google docs compiled online, it should be entitled to 9x bonus pts.

Yah but when you have multiple UOB cards it might sometimes be difficult to check accurately. It isn't really a problem for me now as I am already familiar with the way they calculate, and different cards credit differently. But i was merely highlighting that they are harder to get a breakdown from compared to DBS since there's no messaging.

Got a shock of my life when DBS said all Paypal transactions are excluded in T&C since June 2017
Didn't know that, and not successful in appealing..

I was advised that for any retail websites, if there are various options to make payment, don't choose paypal method if I want to use the Woman's card to get 10X.

Any other card that I can pay for SGD Paypal transactions with 3-4mpd?
