HHonors Gold (Hilton) is the best mid tier program comparing Priority Gold, SPG Gold, and HHonors Gold.

HHonors Gold has a better chance to get you upgraded to executive floor where you are given executive lounge access. Even if not upgraded to that floor, you can still enjoy complimentary breakfast and internet access.

SPG Gold can choose free internet as well as requesting for late check out till 4pm.

HHonors Gold and get status match at Priority side, do Priority side really match it and also give free room upgrade?

My booking of Singapore Air tickets using mobile app did not earn the extra 9 points. Customer service says it doesn't qualify cause of some coding agreement between the merchant and the bank. Well, guess I'll move my air tix purchases to other cards or via paypal then...

Frankly this 2k limit is too low for frequent travelers... but besides this the other cards that offers good miles for booking tickets and online non SGD hotel bookings are only Maybank horizon and UOB Priv Amex

Thanks for the heads up. How about booking of air tickets through the SingaporeAir.com website? Do you get the bonus points on that?

ANZ Travel Visa gives you 2.8 miles per dollar for airtickets and hotel bookings at a few online sites like Asiarooms, Agoda etc.

Only lasts till 28th February 2014 though.

Yeah and apparently it's only for new card members that signed up recently if I remembered correctly.
