so 2k is capped for all purchases?

uob ppv leh?

UOB PPV does not have cap (not that I can see). However, if I were you, I would not any how cheong on this card as it does exclude "Travel" and one fine day, they may not award the 10x points saying it's for "Travel" as the merchant is "Ezylink". Also if many people unreservedly cheong on this card, it might alert the people monitoring its usage and they may take some action on it to disallow the 10x.

Basically my statement balance is $0

Statement balance could be $0 because this month's statement hasn't been generated yet for your billing cycle.

Try this suggestion:

Go to Account Summary, scroll down to the list of credit cards, click on the credit card number of the Woman's card. You will see some transactions. That will be for the Current Month's statement. Look for the link to "Unbilled transactions" and click on that. You might be able to see the transactions there.

Wow. Thank you!
You saved my day!

Why DBS makes it so hard to find transaction history
Citi online banking I can see all transactions in one page, billed and unbilled

UOB is similar, you have to look for the Unbilled Transactions. UOB is worse because can only see unbilled tx, current billed month's tx and previous month's tx. At least for DBS, you can see old tx through e-statement (on left hand menu bar).

Citibank is messy. I get confused as to how much I need to pay for the month. I got very angry when they stopped sending paper statements quietly without informing me.

That's true. Hope they will revamp it in the near future. This sunday they'll be having an upgrade on their login system which I'm looking forward to.

If it doesn't earn 10x then you shouldn't even use this card. Using a DBS altitude make more sense. You can charge phone bills and SP bills to DBS altitude to get the points for redemption too. Charging your ezlink spend to DBS women's and the rest to DBS altitude, you should be almost there, isn't it? Moreover get the ezlink imagine card, top up the Amex purse using DBS women's so all Amex spend also get 10x points. Don't tell me the only thing you ever pay for are ezlink+hp bills+SP bills. NTUC? Dine out? Purchase things online and in store? Surely you are not that frugal until you don't spend at all.

Can we use DBS Woman to topup M1 prepaid MC? that should give 10x points too right?

just to recap again:

1) DBS Women card - no restriction type of online payment but $2k max per month. So can use for anything like hotels, airfare, etc

2) UOB PPV - restricted to certain websites only but no spending limit.

UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Cardmembers will earn 10 UNI$ for every S$5 spending from direct retail transactions with online merchants with effect from 6 March 2013.

Such online merchants include merchants that fall within the categories of bookstores, cinemas, entertainment, electronics, fast food, music and retail shopping, and excludes all airline, travel, government, utilities, telecommunications, brokerage/securities, insurance, education/tuition, online money transfers and online gambling websites and such any other categories of online transactions as UOB may deem fit from time to time.

Should Cardmembers’ online spending be deemed as being for commercial and/or nonpersonal purposes, UOB reserves the right to refuse to award any UNI$ for such transactions. Whether Cardmember’s spending is classified as online spending qualifying for the award of UNI$ shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank. UOB reserves the right to cancel and void any UNI$ awarded in a Cardmember’s statement of account at any time if it deems that such UNI$ was not earned from qualifying online spending of a Cardmember and the Cardmember shall not be entitled to any compensation or payment whatsoever

Theoretically, but a bit dodgy in practice. For instance shop at 6pm.com and somehow you don't get the full miles. Others have reported issues with purchases at the online Apple store.

Where a transaction should give max points on both DBS Woman's MC and UOB PPV, I will have more faith in the latter crediting my miles correctly.

Plus UOB gives you the extra miles straight away, not middle of next month like DBS...

Yup. :) That's why I mentioned that for transactions which are not excluded I will always prefer to pay with UOB PPV and not DBS Woman's card.

Interestingly, I haven had online transactions whereby I was not awarded 10x points so far. In fact I have a good experience with them when there was once I made a transaction at the end of the month when I have already crossed 2k spending for that month and requested for them to count it as the following month's spending instead. I was given the 10x points for that
