That is correct. I am wondering is it due to first get card so they lump first and second month together and pay. Subsequently should be monthly. Then it is logical.

AFAIK, all DC card statements will be generated on last day of the month and then the due date will typically be around 27th of the next month. Hence, if your card is approved say on 1 July 2023, you will only see your e-statement during first few days of Aug 2023 and payment will be due around 27 Aug 2023.

Just to update indeed this DCS card rebate is this month spend they will deduct the rebate direct from the month spend when bill you. This mean it is same as Amex TCB. However since this is DCS Mastercard, exclusions apply and for me is MCC 9399 Government Services (Not Elsewhere Classified)

So it is wise to retain some Amex card like Amex TCB or UOB Absolute Amex. If later SCB terminate Spree entirely I am safe already found replacement and even better same month offset.

Thanks to TS for introduce this lobang.

You’re turning into their biggest fan. :DGood point using Amex for 9399, didn’t realise it’s not excluded.

Tell me which credit card rebate is this month spend this month offset? Previously only Amex TCB. Now with this in the game, I hope soon other bank credit card rebate follow suit. Who will withheld this month and pass to next month? It doesn't make sense to me as customer. I spend I want to immediate offset not like some voucher say only can be utilised on your next visit? wtf?

Just like a lot of other cards with cash rebate you cannot unless you call CS up to ask explicitly. You can do some own rough calculation yourself if it is possible. For me it is a payment to govt entity monies which is big sum.

Hmm as a 2% general cashback card it excludes utilities, insurance, hospital, schools, as well as Amaze. Good thing is that it's MC so acceptance is wider than Amex.

Heard some horror stories about DCS customer service though.

As long as it is under Mastercard, Visa exclusions always apply isn't it? I can vouch for DCS customer service is almost non-existent and hard to get through. I give up liao. They are a small and lean outfit like my mobile line Giga all DIY but if it fails on those rare occasion you are on your own. I actually want to ask the procedure to apply for supplementary card but I guess I apply other bank card instead.

Heads up... I was given the redemption letter for free luggage. Letter was dated 20th July with validity of 1 month. I just went to redeem my luggage tonight. I got the last set they have. According to them, Diners will send more luggage tomorrow. Please either check before going down or go earlier in day and don't cut it to close till 1-2 days before expiry. Cheers.

For bill payment, does DCS cards support fast payment by local banks (DBS, OCBC, UOB)? or need to pay 3 working days in advance?

U either generate the bill and scan the QR for pay now or use AXS by stated timing will be fastest. Paid yesterday via AXS app and my balance was updated today. Think Diners card Paynow is as fast as AXS, but AMEX card Paynow was late by 1 day in posting date as the other non Bank CC issuer.

I find AXS easier to consolidate + pay bills vs bank gateway myself too.
