Applied hsbc dcp on 18/2, approved only on 27/3. Took more than a month for the approval. First time applied, currently under RAS. Now 1 FI easier to pay, rather than many FIs & different due dates. Havent received anything, only the sms. IBs got put up a new savings account as of today.

Rating BB. EIR around 6% when approved. Applied walk-in at Liat towers branch, he said 7%.
Loan amount + buffer 100k. Take 5 years.
Congratulations mate. I was told that if RAS it is very hard to get it approved. My rating is bad also HH

Thanks! Long story. At first the person from Liat towers did all the paper work & try to submit everything on the next working day. Then there was prob with citi at first, due to no RAS acc number. Then after a few days he showed not interested at all. No reply from email or sms when submit additional docs. Until one day, he suddenly politely ask extra docs from all 3 local banks RAS acc because he said the finance dept wanted it. Due to they do not statement, had to call in & requested. So 1 by 1 i sent in, each time he thanked me & replied every single sms & email i sent in different days. I think he knows his salary coming in bah. So, after about 1-2 weeks later, he called to say approved with EIR 6%. Not sure until the letter comes, still waiting though.

Congrats bro...wah...1 month+ ah..during that period nobody contacted you on the progress or you had to keep calling up ?

Boc officer just called....dcp application approved. Quite fast, overall took about 7-8 days, and disbursements to my credit facilities will be made in the next 7-10 working days.

Bros,

For those who has MBB DCP approved, how do they handle access/shortfall after disbursements have been done? I heard that i need to call every bank and ask for refund of access.....subsequently pay off the shortfall accts......

Is the understanding correct?

yeah this is stated in the FAQ of DCP.

thus thats why got 5% buffer.

i just saw that HSBC done a check on my CBS today for the DCP applied earlier. No change to rating / points though.

I understand from UOB their limit is 18x DTI. The 18x includes the 5% buffer, so if your DTI is 18x still must reduce the DTI to about 16+x in order to get approval.
