Cannot say that. I called everyday before I finally decided to screw the HSBC app and try citi. They never got back to me.

Bro please try to get a new report and see if there is any new account created under "Previous inquiries" from there you know if there is any submission or you have to look for another Bank.
All the best.

Who is not serious bro please tell me!
We are all sharing our sorrows here and we want to settle those things ASAP!
I have called HSBC several times and they always refer me to the CSO.
As per my report they have just submitted my application.

Well bro, chilled la, you try calling their loans department and ask for application status, they will check for u and not kick u around. 64994855

They should have submitted your application earlier but only reached the final stage as of today. Might be getting an outcome within a few days. At least that's what I was told by my sales agent

So happy for you bro! Congrats. Do share your secrets please!

Rating
---- :)

FF, 5 years, 1.12 debt to income ratio.

I think amount doesn't matter. The DTI ratio more impt.

> 18 months confirm reject. Lower end of > 12 months < 18 months got chance.

If DD and below pls choose 5 years tenor, better.

I think it's banks secret on approving applications unless you have any relatives or friends working in the bank. There was one with AA rating also decline his application.

Maybe they have quota also some will pass some will fail. They can't simply approved all eligible applications I guess

i spoke to HSBC on this who is handling apps, they say, DTI is taken into consideration but not confirm > 18 mths reject. (but some banks like Citi is >16 mths reject le)

it is all about what other commitments u have and your payment record with the individual banks also, income stability.

all these play a factor.

different risk appetite, different way of income calculation. alot of things we wont know and not only that they change all the time, so i reckon just apply and talk later lol.

Need to see your IRAS NOA amount for 2016

Divide your debt (with 5% buffer) by the NOA amount

If > 1.1 then ok
