I just called Citibank. They say DCP is only for accounts that are open so they advice to go CCS. So my DCP sure not approve not. The account just closed last week. Bad luck.

If they are the ONLY bank that closed ur accounts, ask for conversion of outstanding balance to term loan, no harm trying.

DCP is one bank taking on ALL your risk at a lower interest rate

DMP is ALL your banks allow you to pay a lower interest rate, you pay separately, so the risk to each bank is THE SAME

Just received a SMS from SCB that my DCP application has been rejected...I think I will go for DMP liao but probably in the meantime will apply for DCP from other banks (but not harbouring any hope liao)

I have mentioned in this thread before, urging those who already get rejected by one bank, DO NOT immediately apply other banks. Must improve your ratings score first As each rejection reduced your chance even more. ALL banks are linked, it seems the criteria has become more and more stringent.

If 2, max 3, banks reject, time to consider CCS.

They will only entertain you if your monthly liability > monthly salary BUT if you are facing that kind of scenario it's rly go and get help before it's too late...

Bank is a business, they only care about the T&C we sign
That's why die die we need to pay

3 times max then wait a while - stop applying first
Don't push the rating down further - hard to raise back up
Unless u are already HH - then there's nowhere lower to go
But HH also small chance of getting DCP - from what we see in this thread

Don't mind I ask but have you defaulted any payments before and your job scope wise, what are you working as?

Has a letter of demand being sent to you before?

Danielle it happend to me with ANZ, just call them and inform them that you are applying for DCP or if they can help you with any Loan. All the best.
