I guess one of the reasons was I took a temporarily limit increase a year back but took a bit long to pay back, although I didn't miss any payments or paid below the MS.

The letter received only stated "Following a review of your unsecured credit facilities with us..." etc.

So your CITIBank payment cycle is something like "AAAAAE*****"?
How will it affect the credit score? After 12 months, the "E" records will disappear? Also the Top Part of the report tat show "Previous Enquiries" ,"Default:", got any default?

Does that means I have a chance?

Well, finally manage to get to the sales agent. Applications is still in processing with some activity la. Ask me to call back tmr noon should get the outcome liao

Finally letter from hsbc arrive today. Approved on 17th Mar and letter came on 23rd Mar. Letter confirm loan figures, interest, monthly instalment and last but not least...T&C.

The usual lo. Rating, DTI, tenor, payment record, and whether you have other loans (apart from those to be placed under DCP), all these will be looked at.

Mine is "HHAAAAAAAAAA", H is when they closed my account 2 months ago.

E should be closed with no more outstanding, for example my car which was fully paid off it showed as "EAAAAAAAAAAA" and has stayed that way since it was closed off in 2014.
