to me.. just get it approved is the most important thing, next time can always refinance ..

small loans shorter term always become even worst rates.

but yeah EIR is important thus not many ppl apply DBS

Just did my daily 5pm check on CBS webby to see if got free report or not (if have means got FI check on my CBS report & this in turn means at least someone is working on my DCP application). To my amazement I actually am entitled to a free report today ! but the FI who checked on my CBS report is not HSBC but Maybank. Hope that I can get approval from Maybank...fingers crossing very hard....

my experience from HSBC is they never check and then reject..

Not surprising lah...after all it has been 3 weeks already..that's why I went for Maybank...if Maybank rejects me...then I will go for the CCS counselling session on 12 April to see if I can go for DMP or not lor..no more time to play around with DCP liao..

mine was submitted yesterday to processing and processing officer told me earliest, early next week will have answer and latest will be by end of next week.

Maybank seems to be pretty ok when it comes to approvals. Fingers crossed for u man.

Hi everyone.

Am new here. Applied here just so I can comment on this thread regarding the dcp.

I know this must sound very kancheong to you guys but I'm really desperate. Applied for DBS and Bank of China Tuesday whereas Maybank I just applied today. DBS called me yesterday but was busy so I didn't manage to answer. Called back today but agent not in so they will get agent to call me back tomorrow instead. Maybank called me yesterday to check whether I have submitted my documents and told them I would do it today which I have done it just now.

Anyway, I tried applying for UOB through online but wasn't successful in trying to apply online. But somehow on their end, they managed to capture my details. They called me just now to said that due to my credit rating most probably my application won't be eligible so they told me to apply again once my credit rating gets better in a few months time.

So I guess now the waiting game start for the rest of the bank. I just hope that either one of the banks are able to approve any one of the loans cause it is really causing some strains at home.

Can advise your rating, NOA amount and total outstanding?
