I using 8600gt, when playing high intensi game can feel the hot air blowing out. And the base is very warm.

You can't clean it; it's the paint coming off.

Two door wedges at the back will speed up the exhaut of hot air from the bottom.

ya... i noe but i just want extra protection for my investment. With tat kind of heat coming when playing game for 3 hrs, dun tink my lappy can last long.

I agree the air-cooler is more effective than the door wedge.

Yes, mine also get quite warm when I use my 640m to run fluid network analysis program. But I can tell you that it is not that bad as compare to the fujitsu laptop that my company uses.

Just sold off my Dell 630M. Now planning to get Dell again.. but which one?

I use my notebook mainly for Photoshop and Internet (I do bring it out a bit during the weekends). As there are Inspiron, XPS and the new Vostro, I'm kinda confuse

Anyone can help me out here.. budget no more than 2.7K
