anyone bought the inspiron 700m recently and has encountered the audio problem? cos like i'm like EVO13, deciding between 6000 and 700m. how i wished that 6000 came in 12.1 inch...

need second opinions - dell laptops reliable? my current toshiba portege of 3 years has served me well so i'd like my next purchase to last me for at least 3 years...

There is a fix for the audio problem. The fixes were just released (30 aug), and they are available at Dell USA site. Apparently, the problem is due to the HDD.

I got the Inspiron 6000 and waiting for delivery as well. But the cock thing is that i filled in my unit number wrongly. Damn. Hopefully they call me first so i can rectify with them.

u din get namecard frm e person tt serve u? anyway tink u can call them n check rite but wat i heard frm e person tt serve me, he told me they will call b4 e day to confirm with u e time n if u neva pick up. they will not deliver it to u.
