Oh yes by the way can anyone who owns a dell XPS M1210 tell me the name of the CD burning software that was provided?

I am having a Roxio Creator CD which yeah crashes my MapleStory game when installed and i have to format the whole god damn com....

Anyone with an M1210 in XP tell me if they have the same problem with maplesea with Roxio Creator 9 installed?

Just want to ask dell M1210 user. When u use yr lappy at night. Or when in a quiet places, can u hear the harddisk sound? Can the harddisk be no sound at all?

You can set the Acoustic Setting to quiet in BIOS but performance will be affected.

i have auditoin online and it also keep crashing saying me data error or something like that. anyone knows if audition works well under vistA? it is really due to the roxio cd burning software?

Hi guys,

How do you people maintain your M1210? My palm rest getting dirty liao If view top down can't really see anything, but if from an angle, can see black stuff on the palm rest.

Also, the right side of the keyboard got a double sound. When you press down on the keys, it sinks more than other places. Do I have a case for warranty?

This is what Dell replied in response to my Direct2Dell blog post sometime in Feb 07.

"Hello,

I am writing in response to your Direct2Dell blog post about getting help with your Vista upgrade. Your order will stay in pending status until closer to the shipment time. You will receive an email with tracking details once the order ships. The upgrade program began on 10/26/06 and anyone who registered for the upgrade before you, will get the upgrade before you as they are being shipped on a first in, first out basis.

If you choose not to upgrade to Vista, that is your choice. The upgrade will be sent to you and you can decide then.

My 640m can't connected directly to my Maxonline cable modem...(Limited or No Connection)
While my old Compaq lappy can connect to the modem using network cable directly......without any configuration, anyone can help?

Every time you change computer, you must power cycle your cable modem. Turn OFF modem for one minute and ON again.

The Sims 2 on XPS M1210

Greetings people.

I've tried to find the answer for this questions in other places but never gotten any good replies so this is it:

Can this M1210 (specs listed right side) play The Sims 2 "optimumly", that is, having most of the graphics option on and not end up watching slide shows?

Would greatly appreciate the experience of anyone who have bought the M1210 with the specs configured (almost) the same as what I'll be buying in May [look right]...

P/S: Intel Centrino Pro "Santa Rosa" will be out 9th May. Should I wait?

Sure u can play,,,cos even C N C3 also can play sim 2 should not be a problem..
But it seem much slower with vista right.
