labour is not an issue
it means the fella come and collect the Dell item from you
they bring back somewhere and repair
then later (dun know how long) they bring it back to you

onsite is premium service cos it means the fella (an engineer) will come with all the parts and replace the spoilt items on the spot for you

Mmmm. Does plugging into AC power after the battery is fully charged degrade the battery as well compared to constantly recharging after ~3 hour of usage? Pls advice. I do that often at home because I don't want to keep recharging the battery.

The charger automatically cuts the charge current when the battery is full.

What do u mean by "new models are coming out with Santa Rosa MB". Dell lets you upgrade your warranty when it expires?

Im still havent decide to get a Dell lappy ler.... worry abt it.

My Insprion 6000 screw up...after the windows screen load finish then black screen all the way...

Anyone got this problem? Stupid problem happen after my warrenty end,then i forgot to sign up

Dell send me a quotation of $933 plus 1 yr warrenty...or 1100 for 1 time repair

They say the problem is the palm rest...aka the touch pad that u use as ur cursor

then replace this replace that...siao laio

Suggest you run the diagnostic CD, it may be a problem you can solve on your own.

i encountered this problem b4 on my desktop
I just formatted and balek installed Windows

Go to Malaysia Dell site, choose Ins 1501 n select all the upgrades i did. Now i wondering where to find a delivery address in JB.. .lolz.

How come I cannot find T5300 on intel.com 1???!!! The lowest 'T' c2d there is only T5500???
