Even after xchange to a new set without installing anything it also reformat or hangs?

Could either be you sim card or sdcard causing problems i think.

Look here http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showpost.php?p=57567353&postcount=1415 on how to root your streak and install antek.

Basically you open the antek program (i prefer this), inside will list all the program you can uninstall, look for accuweather and then follow the instruction to uninstall.

No problem so far on my streak, been flashing all the different roms as well

But i never replace my sdcard with new ones tho.

As for the sim, i read somewhere someone said once he takes out his sim card, his phone ok liao ... so i guess something to do with the baseband probably?

So far i tried, stock rom: 351 and 354, custom rom: SimpleStreak, PlayDoh and StreakDroid1.9.1, all no problem

Need to test step by step i guess.

You mentioned earlier you change a new sdcard, so did the hanging and reboots happened after this change or before that already hanging and rebooting?

i send in 2 week ago that lady CSO said can only
send back DELL HQ for repair & cost $500+ & Its not cover under warranty
it was only when i,m back fr. Funan & discover some HWZ bro.
was told can repair at $125

But i guess they are reluctant to take in to repair as well.

Dell streak 5" seems to be a testing platform for them imo ... could be a good product but they don't seem to want to make it better ... sigh.

Hi i have the same problem. My phone always hanged and especially after playing youtube. the last straw is when my charger, it seem to have rust. ( i was puzzled myself) so i scraped it for it cannot jacked into the port to charge. abl
it finally able but it wont charged. dead.
went to sh was to told to go funan. and it seems this Celine girl is very famous. she is the customer service thats a "perfect model" of all of bad customer services put together.
she isnt helpful at all. she claimed i damaged my port and warranty do no cover and slapped me with a whopping $577 to repair or change it.
my concern is why dont starhub sales people inform us naive consumer abt this before we decide to proceed in buying it not.

Why werent we consumer told about purchasing insurance since they knew this port is not covered and is very expensive to.
I am traumatic of going to Funan and til now my phone stays at home almost 2 weeks now.
