Did you change your input choice in the OSD?
1. check your connection got connect properly or not
2. check if you got set the monitor input source to auto or DVI-D
3. cable spoil? try another cable?
4. make sure HDMI setting on ur PS3 is on
5. if all of the above don't work then likely is either your PS3 or monitor spoil
For the ps3:
I set the video output to HDMI 1080p since U2412M can support 1080p. 1080i is unchecked because monitors cannot use it. Audio output is set to SCART (different from HDMI).
I have also tried lowering the output to 720p in case the monitor cannot display 1080p.
The ps3 runs fine when I connect it to my HDTV, and it can display HDMI @ 1080p/1080i/720p.
For the U2412M:
I tried both DVI-D input and auto input. DVI_D input will show that there is no input detected, while auto will just give a black screen.
My com is also using the monitor, and it is connected via DVI also. So the monitor DVI connection is not spoilt. I'm using a GTX760, and the nvidia controller shows that HDCP is working fine.
For the whole setup, I used a HDMI to DVI-D (dual link) cable, and a RCA converter for the audio. Both acquired from Newstead and tested to work before purchase.
Is there anything wrong I'm doing here?
