The wait to have this appointment is long too isn't it, or did you walk in?Just went to polyclinic for scaling & polishing, didn't know the cost was so high~ almost same as private clinic~ worse the whole procedure was very painful and so much blood tissue lost~
still ask me to come back 2 months later for gum inspection~guess it will be my last time there, next time will go JB instead~

According to the health ministry, the
12:27
median waiting time to book your first
12:29
appointment at a poly clinic is 3
12:31
months. Let's try to book one now.
13:04
week's time. And as long as I'm willing
13:07
to travel out of my estate, there were
13:09
multiple poly clinics with same day or
13:11
next day slots available. I wonder what

Yeah, seems like wait is long and prices isn't exactly competitive.I made the appointment like 6 months ago~ I'm not concern on the long waiting appointment just that the cost was higher than I thought~ and the scaling process was too much pain, I can feel the dentist using the tool to grin off my gum~![]()

I mean those dentist @ polyclinic probably arenβt the most experienced. Reality of public healthcare in primary care setting.I made the appointment like 6 months ago~ I'm not concern on the long waiting appointment just that the cost was higher than I thought~ and the scaling process was too much pain, I can feel the dentist using the tool to grin off my gum~![]()
Depends on where you stay more impt?I mean, if price is competitive, travlling to Jurong makes sense.
But if it isn't then might as well travel JB.![]()
Actually is not service is skill.Yeah, seems like wait is long and prices isn't exactly competitive.
Moreover, service is cui from your sharing...
Yup, and costing that much doesn't make economical sense to me at least.I mean those dentist @ polyclinic probably arenβt the most experienced. Reality of public healthcare in primary care setting.
so maybe not as skilful.
but then again ago it the cost is about basis of expectations

pretty sure their service is great but skill but not be there.

I mean like if you are in woodlands, probably going to Jurong would never be as preferred as JB.Yup, and costing that much doesn't make economical sense to me at least.
Location not as important liao since there's more polyclinics popping up over SG.
My service meant both skill and service as a whole.![]()
Yes yes, definitely agreed on this.I mean like if you are in woodlands, probably going to Jurong would never be as preferred as JB.
but if you are in Jurong area then diff story ma
Probably still cheaperMalaysia has new 6% tax for foreigners seeking medical services.
Recently did mine at Q&M for about $33 moreJust went to polyclinic for scaling & polishing, didn't know the cost was so high~ almost same as private clinic~ worse the whole procedure was very painful and so much blood tissue lost~

at mid valley dentist.
is it ex? Idk?
Today for my introductory appointment at E&E Dental Clinic, I did Scaling & Polishing - RM 130. I paid with Debit Card PayWave.
(Update: I've seen customers paying with Wise & YouTrip)
I took a bus from Sentral & stopped opposite Plaza Pelangi & walked the rest of the way.
The clinic occupies 2 shop houses - only Ground Floors. On entering I needed to swapped out my shoes for their slippers - this is SOP.
My appointment was at 9.30am & after taking my passport details etc, it wasn't long before I was called.
The dentist's room was an enclosed one - didn't see any that were not enclosed.
I am satisfied with my treatment & there's nothing stopping me for a re-visit.
