I am interested in the above.

What is your review of the above after 1 month of use, specifically what did you not like about it (if any)? Was it easy to schedule the installation?

I love the lock being that it is so convenient that you do not have to flash anything physically at the lock, all you have to do is have your mobile phone with you without even unlocking the screen and what I did, I use the Smart Connect which comes with my Sony Mobile to launch the app and hide in the background when I reach home.

So all I have to do is press any button the lock and the door will be opened without even taking out my mobile phone. Another convenient feature is to assign any temporary passcode even if you are outside and your family members want to access, just pass them the Temporary Passcode and they can unlock the door without you having the need to go home.

I bought the lock online and chat with the helpdesk online to schedule an appointment, the appointment will be scheduled via Google Calendar so installer will come at the right time without having the need to call up to check again on the appointment. They will assist to give you an early appointment if they have any empty slots which suit you.

Definitely worth the price for the $200+ with all these features, I have installed the Yale RFID Digital Door Lock on my main door but it does not come with all these convenient feature using the App unless you go for the higher end model which cost more.

Hope the above simple review helps and I know they are having the same promotion which I have now so if you are interested, better grab hold of it.

Dear All,

Sorry side track abit...also getting a new place :D....would it be a good combination:

1) Gateman F10 for my gate ( consider to get interlock for installation)

2) Samsung SHP-DP920 for my main door ( maybe get my contractor or use interlock for installation)

I am using back the existing Gate and door by the previous owner, and the both item I considering buying for Qoo10

Welcome all and any suggestion.:s12:

I don't think so as you will need a Master Password in order to change the settings etc, correct me if I am wrong.

However, I have compared the prices if I buy from Qoo10 and engage a local installer versus buying locally, the price gap is quite big of about $200-$300, guess I will buy from Qoo10 then ask local installer like Interlock to do the installation.

Any similar experience or feedback, care to share?

Yup you are right. To change password most digital locks will require a master key/card of sorts to do the programming.

I would recommend looking at companies that provide both the lock-set and the installation service to prevent all the nitty gritty issues. (eg workmanship, pricing etc)

Cheers! :s13:

Yes, the model for yale do not have handle and you cannot link up with the app to provide one time passcode if anyone want to enter your room temporary.

Is there a need to do that? Thus means the lock has to be WiFi or 3G 4G capable. This means much shorter battery life. Some model use rechargeable battery, you may required to charge it every month. And battery end life and replacement is another issue.

Need not to mention about cyber security.

Same here. I DIY. Much cheaper then local supplier.

About the master pass code. I believe is the same for all model. So original setting can be changed easily.

Digital lock gurus,

I'm looking to install a set of digital locks for my place. (HDB resale) Please advise if there are any brands/models in the market that meets my requirements:

1. Able to set at least 5 pass codes.
2. Able to set at least 5 fingerprints.
3. Able to delete individual pass codes/fingerprints.

Thanks in advance.
