I'm sure this has driven some frustration to consider getting a drink with BCRS label due to cost.

There was no tangible benefit to business and consumer technically.

More likely a large quantity of bottles are just thrown away and donated.

in the negatives,

because im being forced to pay taxes, which funded this entire circus .

And its actually taking up more time [ to collect, queue and dispose ] im making more loses base off time and productivity.

yes, even if im not doing anything, im resting, but because of some ret-a-rd in the govt body thought this was a brilliant idea to re-use whatever previously purchased vending machines [ else how they managed to put it EVERYWHERE WITH security camera ?

they wanted it for something else but because all want that free money and KPI, yea

im making ahuge loss

Saw many carry huge trash bag full of cans to be recycled at the machine. Impression like encourage people drink more to collect the cans. :s22:

No offense I think is lost more then saved

Last time my usual drinks before this thing sells 1.95 or 2.05 forget liao

Now become 2.25 or 2.35 ...even if I return it I think I still loss company to last time

Now have to change drinking habits to keep my sugar intake if not wait for any big discount then buy drinks

Not really... Don't think many people will stop drinking bottled drink because of $0.10. I noticed many people just heck care and left the bottles there for others to claim the refund. I also saw many people collected many bottles and queued at the machines to refund one by one...either cases are alright.

If you are the marginal consumer that will be deterred by 10cents, by all means, don't consume. It's perfectly alright. To most others, it's just business as usual, with or without the additional 10cents.

i was at a shopping mall over weekend, and saw a foreign worker worker with 3 large trash bags of empty containers, feeding the machine 1 bottle at a time

u don't save, u make money, go collect bottles and cans, 0 cost, just spend some manual energy

to earn $2000 per month, u need to collect 20k such bottles and cans, 1 week 5000
