Every month confirm got 20,000 bottles for that person to collect to earn a stable salary?

i saw a bangala carting 3 full trash bags of cans/plastic bottles and getting 12 dollars at lau pa sat.

3 FULL BIG trash bags, for 12 dollars.

thats a great tradeoff, they get to earn some pocket money and help us recycle the bottles/cans.

and for 12 dollars, its an amount small enough not many would do it but those bangalas and aunties/uncles would. So no one is "fighting" for these recyclables.

Working as intended IMO. They get pocket money, we get better recycling numbers.

The important part is that if they search bins, they should be compelled to leave them as they were found.

The compulsion should be strong. Make the penalty for making a mess the equivalent of collecting 2000 bottles of more.

Just read an article about a foreign worker that was electrocuted to death while working.
They had a tough time in Singapore while working.
0.10 cents here and there does not make any difference to us .
Just give chances to them .
Try to give $2 to the rubbish workers in your area because they got much more waste from people ordering from e-commerce , boxes, plastic bubble …..
