Processors should buy it from Amazon as it is cheaper and usually do not require warranty as they are the last component to ever break down.
agree, though id source them from taobao as they are dirt cheap over there. u also gain access to the 7500f, which is very similar to the 7600x, just 300mhz lower clocks and no igpu for around $200, around half of that amazon listing but basically identical performance.
Locally, you cant find the B650M RS Pro and HDV/M.2 though, the lowest model the distro brought in is PG Riptide, which is a tier up.
distro got bring in a lower model pg lightning, but is a step down from the hdv. at the price of the pg lightning, id get the a620m pro rs.
hi everyone, as the recommendation list seems dated , can anyone advise?
i just updated the list not even 10 days ago... :s11:
Possible to squeeze budget of $2.7 ~ $2.8K with 14th Gen i7 and RTX 4080, 2TB NVME, 32GB DDR5?
not possible. if u refer to the first post, 3k only gets u a 13th gen i7 and 7900xtx, the former of which is lesser than ur ideal config. 14700kf + mobo + 4080 alone will rack u up at least 2.6k, and that is with a b760 board. u go system integrator like aftershock or invaderpc, minimum is 3.3k, so u will have to increase ur budget or compromise on parts. anyway if ur just gaming, go for the 7800x3d, its generally faster in games.

and amd ryzen 5600 $209 from this seller video pro pte ltd

guys is the deal solid?
Export sets. Lots of reviews about this guy passing off export sets as local warranty sets at cheaper prices. Bought my first cpu from him which came from China without warranty. Took 2 weeks to arrive. Must as well buy it myself from Aliexpress.

sorry coz i read that u were asking about the 2.5g on the lan port thats why i replied...
in normal usage the 1g lan port is good neff....

no, please dont apologise. i'm just lost and amazed in the tech specs that is at now, compared to my past knowledge of them.

A portable device would be a better choice for bed but I wouldn't imagine myself gaming with AA titles on a laptop. It doesn't have the same specs and effects compared to desktop.

true to that. its certainly challenging in "playing" games with the awkward comfort on the posture on bed.
its just that replacing a desktop with a portable windows console (with docks and desktop accessories) sounds a bit too good to be true. i dont think i should compare them this manner.

i was eyeing on the lenovo legion go. its just that the asking price is very un-comparable with notebooks/desktops.

Even gaming laptop price is crazy jacked up.

An equivalent gaming laptop 3 years ago for 3k now cost 4k.

Build desktop hao le, half the price.

PC was also cheaper a few years ago before covid. Since the chip shortage period, PC prices went up. The craziest were the GPUs. I can get a mid tier GPU for $300 something. Not possible now.

seasonic's lineup is generally solid. i still remember when the focus gx 650w cost 140 tho, now closer to 170 range haiz...
best is get the focus gx; u can also consider the focus gm, bizgram has the 650w unit for 138, though it is only semi modular and has 7 yr warranty opposed to 10. the gigabyte psu is the p650b? it probably isnt dangerous unlike previous gigabyte psus, but i wouldnt skimp on the psu if i had the budget.

its just in general what i noticed if u want a balanced pc. usually the card costs about half, then the rest of the pc which wont bottleneck the card is also about the same price (or vice versa). no one is stopping u from pairing a celeron with a 4090 or a 7950x3d with a 6500xt, but chances are the experience wont be as good as expected.
What's great is that Seasonic now makes white PSUs which mean that users who want to build an all white themed rig no longer need white extension cables.

Depends

I bought my white focus gx 750w in end july/early aug, cables all black colour, thought I probably kena NOS, so went to corbell and asked them to switch to newer version with the white cables. They say they dont bring in the version with white cables, wtf lol...but mine is the focus gx non-atx 3.0 version, not sure about the atx3.0 ver, vertex, prime series etc. So best to call up corbell and ask first before plonging down the cash for a white seasonic psu

What fun about own diy is you can pick yourself assembly yourself troubleshooting yourself. Yes prebuild nowadays price can slightly fight diy. Service or warranty but end of the day if you got problem playing games at late night you still need to troubleshoot yourself

Msi pro 650M + 7600X + gskill z5 16x2 = $686 pckaki
Lian li lancool 216 $135 black shopee makefine (Best case maybe)
Superflower leadex gold plus pcie 5.0 850W $152 carousell pckaki (next gen PSU)
SN850X 1TB nvme $110 pctheme shopee (top tier 4.0)
7800xt sapphire nitro + $818 tradepac
arctic liquid freezer ii 240 all black (top tier cooler) $118 carousell pckaki

Total $2019 you can cut down if you want casing cooler or even gpu $1950 if you go xfx speedster $766 carousell pckaki case psu nvme ram all beats your prebuild no hard feeling

Actually I am using the same PSU with yours for the black version even though I use Lian Li Strimer as extension. Seasonic is very solid. My previous old Seasonic PSU bought in 2015 is still running strong and I could still sell it on Carousell.

he's passing ownself shop warranty off as "local" warranty, which technically isnt wrong but is not the same as distro warranty. if he close shop one day then ur out of luck.

better, though the case is very cheap. id rather go with something like the enthusiast reco on the first page, better nvme and psu while having a wider selection of cases at about the same price.
Is this rig worth? mainly for gaming pc

https://www.invaderpc.com/product/specm21/
for the performance class, pretty good. though the 12gb of vram on the 4070ti is abit iffy for longevity. i would also upgrade to 32gb of ram when spending this much on a pc.
Superflower leadex gold plus pcie 5.0 850W $152 carousell pckaki (next gen PSU)
i think id go with msi on this one, superflower only offers 5y warranty while msi offers 7.
Lian li lancool 216 $135 black shopee makefine (Best case maybe)
yep, though viipc has the cheapest last i checked at 125.
arctic liquid freezer ii 240 all black (top tier cooler) $118 carousell pckaki
7600x no need aio, air cooler like the pa120 is enough for half the price from tradepac.

Yes no need a peerless assassin will do the job well.

My current cpu 5700x is using liquid freezer ii 240 as i brought it around $95 and it came with 6 years warranty very worth the price. My next upgrade will be 7700x and still use back this aio really good cool my 5700x under 55 degree in game even fpu stress test 80+ can run 6 hours never blue screen.
