there was a point in my life when I hated cny.
nowadays if my grandparents were still alive, I wouldnt hate it -that- much. maybe.
some relatives are ok, some are annoying but once year ok. some I just never want to see again.

Dun have this issue any more.
Parents and relatives are too old to move around.
So, dun need to waste time any more.
Only time in seeing the relatives is their funeral wake.

Why dread CNY because of some relatives that you dun care ?
Spend the time with your peers and talk cork till late.
That is what you need to do.

When small, parents bring to relatives collect angpao
When teens, relatives give angpao
When 30s, no go relatives hse, juz rest at h
When 40s, juz stay at hm or go parents hse giv them angpao
Now 50s, parents gone, sibling get tgt dinner small talk
My whole life, cny is nvr abt relatives, cos we fell out with my dad's side relatives, my mom's side oso seldom get tgt
