Planning to change the door bell, does anyone know how to remove the doorbell button done by HDB? I don’t see any screws or gaps that I could pry open

For nest aware sub, can share what is the advantage?
Right now i got no sub but still able to see the event logs n video?

You need to turn the eyeviewer, from the internal side of the door panel, and turn, anticlockwise.

I was actually referring to the door bell button fixed on the wall, not the peephole viewer...

The 86 wall switch. U can try use a flat tip screw driver n peel off the middle button then the square frame..you see 2 screws. Just unscrew them will do.

My bad.. you can refer to zeroflame. It is like those switches, you can ply it open.

You can try google remove switches cover.

Meaning I get power from my 220V power outlet, use those transformer things, plug it into the wires at the bell point, and then connect the video doorbell to the wires outside my home at the doorbell button (to be removed, of course)?

Is that how you guys are doing it?

Unless your cam has motion sensor, if not if someone decides to bypass & knock on the door instead of ringing the door bell, you’re back to square one no?

I am using a self powered door bell, basically it’s a door bell that do not require batteries. It’s gets the energy when you press the button. The receiver just plug to any socket and there are 40 over chimes and very loud. I don’t like to change batteries especially in those video door bell. Don’t get me wrong. I do have a 24/7 wifi camera that’s hardwired outside the door.

Yup. The 2 wires for doorbell. Indoor end connect to power adapter. Outdoor end connect to yr ring or hello nest.

Subscription adds zone, intelligent motion detection (?) , Face detection ( needs learning ), etc.

There are two categories of subscription

One does 60 day clip recording based on triggers - motion sound familiar unfamiliar faces etc. I think a clip can go as long as almost 2 min

The other has additional 10days of continuous recording data on top of 60 day clips.

I dont see any mention of the Eufy Video Doorbell. Not recommended?
Doesnt need a subscription. Got its own storage.
