By the way, when is the best time to go down to Combat?

For drivers, where do you park?

And do they allow eating over there?

For your first qn, rule of thumb the pahang durian truck arrives 6plus7pm. Best to call and reserve. Same applies elsewhere

Last qn, tables are available for dine in as well.

are the pahang msw much better than those from elsewhere?

recently had some msw (from two stalls) which were sweeter and these sweeter ones had some tiny black spots on the seeds.

Pahang terrain is hilly with high altitude, hence water drains easily which is essential for durian production. Of course other factors like climate and minerals in the soil etc plays a part. In my opinion, penang durian is tops because of the additional salt and minerals from the sea carried to the hilly slopes of penang durian by the winds.

Johore on the other hand? Pretty much flat but with some exception of low lying hills I.e. Pagoh.

Black spots? Reject!
