I ate it before in Donald's up north in KL many years ago. From the exterior to the interior, visually its very close to the Thai Monthong. Only thing is the taste different and that is Angel is slightly on the bitterish side.

Just like another example, Chanee from Thailand and MSW. This 2 cultivars really look very very similar, only the taste of the thai chanee lose out in terms of taste pungence. Everything else same I.e smooth. Buttery texture and thickness of flesh. Well its little wonder they're so closely related. MSW birth place is Gua Musang, Kelantan which is super close to Thailand. Hmmmm. Food for thought

the price fluctuates daily bro, last few days it is 12/kg msw for combat durian. the durian lorry from malaysia comes at 3/4pm afternoon time, thus if you look for combat preferably after 6pm evening time.

717 uses their own plantation is premium durian.

premium as in their price is always higher than market price, combat selling $12/kg, 717 want to sell $15/kg :s11:

look 717 facebook page so funny 717 advertise MSW $8/kg, many flock to yio chu kang " Bro Your msw $8/kg at where? Mind sharing?" 717 answer => "sold out pretty early" :s13: 717 you are good :D
