A few questions.
1. How do you update Broadlink Rm pro versions ? Can we mannually update?

2. To do scene. Do you create the scene on e-control or rm plugin ?

Not too sure how to do a few things together at the same time to create scene. I am able to use rm plugin to control individual device with on/off function. If i wan to do a few things at one time. (example, "Party time" then it turn on my aircon, tv, hi-fi, lights using rm plugin and hue lights)

1.RM Pro versions?? u mean the apps ?? if have can always get latest from playstore.

2. scene, create on apps bah, i thought rm-plug in just an interface for u to voice-control device ?

Ya just let playstore auto update the app.

Scenes created in econtrol or ihc are not recognised by alexa. You can use rmplugin's macro function to create 'scenes' (essentially a string of commands with timing gap between each command), then add that macro as a device's command so you can turn on/off via alexa.

Alexa app's Routines can also behave like a scene by running a string of commands (but without timing gap control).

U have to use plugin or just use the "Tv" function in ihc.
Alexa only can work with the TV in ihc. so you play around with it.
if you wan to control those with rf signal, u still need the plugin

IHC works with RF signals no problem.

Both rmplugin and ihc can work with RF signals.

All appliances you create must be using the TV template, so your aircon will be a fake TV, so that alexa can discover it. Search the forums for more notes and advice.

Just sharing.

For those getting RM Pro,
i got it at Lazada for $31+ dollars including delivery.
Now is 12.12 can use ORBI740 code to get 40% off (max to $15).
If 40% code fully redeemed, (likely by noon)
then can use JUPITER code for 12% off (max to $32)

I just used the ORBI740 code and think after discount is around $19 only.

Just tried rm plugin yesterday with my cheap android tablet and the settings codes auto populated from e-control. Had to create so many devices to control different function of the devices like turn on airconditioning, turn airconditioning temp up, turn airconditioning temp down, light 1, light 2, light 3, all lights. But it works!

my frd earlier issue is due to spacing in SSID, but urs dun hav, cld it be ur router firewall settings or sumthing ??

I brought it to my office to try and it works. My office is also using Asus router. Strange, both home and office Asus routers are default settings ( same ) and yet my home network cannot work. But at least I isolate the issue is due to my home network issue.

I will test it out tonight.

Hello.. Any of u guys with rm pro tried to link it up to another brand hub?? Saw an article need rm plugin to link to smartthings hub.

Am looking at easier way... If any...

Personally think dat broadlink rm pro lik more of proprietary device, the other brand hubs / IFFFT cant connect to it....

unlike other china brand lik sonoff, using eWelink app seems lik more supported by other brands.
