Hi, anyone with experience with TC2 light switch installation? Can’t seem to fit in my light switch socket because there’s 4 instead of 2 screw hole inside, extra screw hole on top and below and it’s blocking the TC2 from being pushed in. Sorry if I’m asking in the wrong thread!

Here’s a pic of the 2 extra screw hole thing

For the plastic screw casement use a pair of plier to break the top and bottom pieces, vacuum and clear the plastic casemnt from leftover cements and you can fit the swtich in.

You only 2 screw holes. 4 screw holes bracket is in case you want to mount the switch side way. The distance between 2 screw holes should be standard, unless you are using those from American.

Is not recommended. As plastic may broken after some years. Other 2 will help if you can install the switch side way (as the bracket is very hard to remove if the screw holes finally broke.

To work in Alexa , your device must assigned as a TV remote . Only TV remote not lamp, switch etc.

You need to add capacitor at the lamp side .

Just bought Yoogee Switches for my new BTO..

Managed to get the 2-way switches working.. however, my LED tracklight is giving out buzzing sound when i turned them on.. anyone has issues like that?

the LED tracklight does not have this issue when it's with the default HDB wall switches..

my electrician also cannot understand why is it so..

I have rm pro +, google Home mini. Downloaded google home, google assistant and ihc.
Programmed ihc using IR to control fan on/off, working fine.
But when I linked google home to ihc, I tried using voice command(google mini) to turn on fan. No response on the fan and rm pro+ no red light(normally red light lights up when I sent on signal thru ihc).

Where did I go wrong? Any guru can help pls..

I'm using nvidia shield tv google assistant to control my home automation. I guess google home mini uses google assistant as well. They should work similar.

1. Create 2 scenes in ihc app. "Fan On" and "Fan Off"
2. Test out the 2 scenes in ihc app to check if its working
3. On your phone google assistant go to settings and "shortcuts"
4. Create 2 shortcuts
"turn on fan" respond to "turn on Fan On"
"turn off fan" respond to "turn on Fan Off"
5. Test on google assistant

I'm using this workthrough with my aircon on/off and they work fine. Give it a try.

Thanks but I can’t find the “shortcuts’ function in my app. I’m using iPhone 6. Is it the cause?

Anyone is able to use Alexa voice control for Yoogee wall switch. The Yoogee switch can only pair with broadlink effects control.
