I'm using nvidia shield tv google assistant to control my home automation. I guess google home mini uses google assistant as well. They should work similar.

1. Create 2 scenes in ihc app. "Fan On" and "Fan Off"
2. Test out the 2 scenes in ihc app to check if its working
3. On your phone google assistant go to settings and "shortcuts"
4. Create 2 shortcuts
"turn on fan" respond to "turn on Fan On"
"turn off fan" respond to "turn on Fan Off"
5. Test on google assistant

I'm using this workthrough with my aircon on/off and they work fine. Give it a try.

Thanks, I changed language to US, managed to find the “shortcut”. Program and tried it(Scene) out but nothing happen. Only responded “Ok,activating fan 2 on” but fan did not turn on. Where did I go wrong ? Gurus pls help...

Anyone is able to use Alexa voice control for Yoogee wall switch. The Yoogee switch can only pair with broadlink effects control.

What is the broadlink effects control?

Yes. Setup to "scene"
No. Reprogram your fan

2. Does it work on "Scene"?
Yes. Setup google assistant "shortcut"
No. Reprogram the "Scene" if still cant back to Qn. 1

I am using rm pro with tc2 switches using ihc. I realise that when my phone is connected to my home wifi, I am able to see from Ihc that my device status is under local and I can control them. When I am not on home Wi-Fi, the device status in ihc changes to remote but I am not able to control anything, which means when I am outside I can control anything. Anyone else faces the same issue?

Dunno why my led downlight blink once and didnt light up with my touch wall switch. Anybody encounter such issue and should i install capacitor that comes with the light switch?

Ur dat touch switch.. Is link to how many downlights? Could it be ur led downlight watts too low? Or downlight issue?

2nd thing u can do if it is not the watts issue , change back to normal mechanical switch... Does ur led light on/off behaviour normal, if yes den isnot led downlight issue.

Even when it is in remote , it should able to control your home devices but at slower response as you need broadlink server to relay the instruction via the app remotely. Broadlink server is slow. Sometimes I got timeout as a result which means it does nothing when you press the button at the ihc app.
. For me to overcome this slowness , I login to my home via my router VPN network (that comes with my ASUS router .)

The switch I using is bought from Taobao 奥都智能触摸开关配随意贴无线单控变双控无需改线墙壁灯具开关 . It is a 86x 86 mm standard with 2 screwholes.

You need to buy a set - the wall switch and the remote control ( the key code) . You can buy additional remote control and add to the wall switch . The wall switch allows 3 control functions - Just ON or just OFF or ON/OFF . Each function can pair and store 16 remote control ‘s key code.

After you pair the remote control with the wall switch , you configure broadlink rm pro ‘s ihc app by create a device, learn and save the remote control key code by pressing at the button on the remote. Once done go to your Alexa or Google Home app n configure accordingly.

I intend to buy more for backups in case the switch malfunction . Any interested can ping me n join my group buy something in March

I have received my Yoogee switches last week and install myself. I use IHC and Yoogee is not in their list I am not able to pair the switches. I download Broadlink e control app and Yoogee is in the device list and able to pair succesfully. I am using Broadlink S2 alarm kit to set the IFFT function to turn on the lights when my storeroom room open, and off the toilet lights if no person is detected etc. I am not using rm tasker for voice control of the lights. For aircon, Fan and tv in the living room I am using IHC, Broadlink RM Pro + with Alexa, for MBR I am using Google Assistant on my Android phone with broadlink black been to control my TV, Fan and aircon. I have a Sonoff plug for my water kettle its Alexa enable. So far I am happy with my set up with a very small budget of 350 to automate my house and the response of the device is very good except the voice command of Alexa and Google Assistant sometime cannot response to my command. I am hoping Broadlink will gradually improves the IHC app to support the RF lights switches in future and expand the control list and not just limited to TV.

I am considering to get the alexa if it is able to do this thou I read the thread that you need to create under TV for Alexa to work, but I didn't see any info on how to get individual buttons to work on Alexa. Supposedly if I create the TV profile to link to the tc2 it will link all 3 buttons right? I am on rm pro, ihc and tc2 switches.

our setup is more or less the same, i like the fact it is not too expensive if u are comparing to Homey , SmartThings , etc. The e-Control/IHC app control is quite reliable, i will say 99.9% will work when triggered.

however like u mentioned, is the voice commands that sometimes may not work but im not sure is it the integration with broadlink issue or its jus lik this for other brand devices too. think things are improving, just have to wait. Nothing is perfect but glad we both enjoying our fruits of labour at such low costs.

for your TC2 rf switches, in your IHC app, how is it configured ?
each 'tv template' for each button ? if yes, then it is able to work as per your wanted scenario.

for e.g tv template 1 for button A.... tv template 2 for button B , etc for your that 3gang switch. in Alexa integration... they will see template A, B , etc .... so for Alexa, when u say "Alexa, turn on A' onli light A will on.... ""alexa, turn on B'' only light B that is configured on ur template B remote will ON.

If you are using Broadlink TC switches, it can be added to IHC app, as only Broadlink switches are supported at this moment. According to Paul Hibbert now only the Google home voice control is able to support the RF switches using the lamp template.For Alexa and IHC with the TV template unable to learn the RF signal hence cannot work.Butif you really want to use Alexa for voice control your RF switches you need to use RM plug in method and with a android device to be permanently on, which I don't prefer.

Frankly I think the voice control is not very stable yet, and I find it not necessarily for lights instead I use S2 Alarm kit sensors to activate the lights is more effective, ie when I open my toilet door, the motion sensor sense my presence will turn on automatically.

. For me to overcome this slowness , I login to my home via my router VPN network (that comes with my ASUS router .)

Using a external server/cloud only increase chances of your home network to get hack. So be very careful.
A home automation system should be self driven, without dependency of external server. Else if these server came down, you lost control to your devices.

Try scan frequency first then learn single.... We have some friend commented that his RF fan is on 302mhz but rm pro oso able to learn too.

How to enable Alexa to switch on and off the lights on Broadlink TC2

Hi there, just installed the Broadlink TC2 1 gang switch and light is working properly. Any idea how to get Alexa to switch on the lights ? I've tried using IHC and managed to detect TC2 and got the app working but just cannot get Alexa to switch on or off the lights. Any guru can help ?

Broadlink IHC .. integration to Alexa, currently only can detect ''tv template'' ur TC2 should be a Light switch template therefore wun be able to use.

unless u can make it a TV template.... , eg such as buying a cheap 433mhx RF remote to pair with ur TC2 (im not sure can it be done, assumption here). then once paired, u goto IHC app, create a tv template and learn the remote control button to on/off as TV template, den Alexa will be able to use THAT RF code control ur TC2 light.
