Does anyone have an LG tv that uses magic remote?
Is it possible to learn the commands?
I realised the magic remote uses 2.4ghz but also has ir capability.
How to force the remote to transmit IR so that my broadlink can learn.

Hi hi, i got the RM pluging..

1. Do i have to paid for the tasker app separately?

2. Does it conflict with IHC? previously i tried RM pluggin. End up my alexa start to read new buttons from RM pluging, ie cannot find my new device/scene from IHC.

Hi infernolord,

1. the Tasker app is one-time fee of $2.99 or $5.99 , cant rembr...

2. RM plugin got option to disable alexa from discovering rm plugins controls.

U can turn on anything. Simply configure them as light as well.

Hi guys, anyone manage to get the Broadlink IHC app to work with Starhub set top box ?

If yes, please share how you do it. Really appreciated that !

I manage to get it work with e-Control APP. But Google home can only see the setup in IHC app and not e-Control. So I need a way to control my Starhub set top box with Google.

Thanks !

Unless u using rm plugin method... Ihc tv template uses learn remote way only, Ur TC2 doesn't have a remote to learn... U can try get a cheap 433mhz remote and pair with ur TC2, afterwards let it learn as tv template in ihc... Den shld be fine

But I understand that in ihc when creating tv template to learn the buttons, rm pro is waiting to receive ir signal to learn that's why I am not able to create my tc2 switches as tv template. So by getting the 433mhz remote to pair with my tc2 switches, how do I get the tv template buttons to learn from the remote as if I am not wrong the remote also send out rf signal only after pairing with tc2.

i think boradlink recently have an update that now can uses LAMP template for RF singals, meaning u can set it as LAMPS so both ur google-home and alexa can use the same config via IHC app.

Please kindly refer to Paul Hibbert's video, https://youtu.be/Pdjp6ic99S8

Tks, works now. Realize I have to set as separate on and off buttons on ihc even though it is only one on/off on remote

i followed the instructions given on the website to install on the SD card. Then just added the line to add broadlink in configuration.yaml.

My raspeberry pi is usb powered by my router.. so both is always on and always connected to my wifi.
Hello @hexanol! Did you use the Broadline e-Control DB dump script to extract the codes from eControl? I realise that there is only 1 set of code when I thought the eControl has a different code for ON and OFF actions?

Did anyone encounter Google home reply " Activating two scenes" even though there is only one scene activated in ihc?
