Yup I know the broadlink TC switches have a faint blue glow when the switch is off. Helps finding them in the dark.

What I meant the LED light that the Broadlink switch was controlling has residual electrical flow causing a very faint glow. It doesn't seem like it was completely switched off.

Maybe later tonight I try to post a picture

Did you install the capacitor that comes with the TC2. Refer to the manual there is a mention of such situation.

I have a couple of TC2. honestly, the capacitor abit useless one. sometime work, sometimes dun.
I think is the quality checks issues with TC2 from tb. I can say every 10 TC plug i bought, 2 spolit.

thanks for your hint, I will go back and read through. the residual current that runs my light when the switch is off is initially cool but now an eyesore

Anyone using Tmall genie? Can it be use together with rm pro +, ihc and livolo switches? Or anyone can share more about tmall genie?

Or may I ask what are the best option to voice control the Livolo switch?

Just got the Tmall genie (square one < S$30), I got a rm pro and black bean - linked to a TV and 2 aircons , managed to link the IHC with Tmall genie app but only rm pro appear with the TV .. finally managed to add the black bean at Tmall genie app and pair with my aircons but not very stable (perhaps mayb due to the Black Bean version -mine is prc version not the global version and the cloud sync condition between broadlink and tmall genie)

In short, Tmall genie can work with RM pro to voice control TV and aircon but with very selective model for other home appliances ..

As compare to Mi Ai speaker, Tmall genie has faster and more creative response, work direct wif Broadlink, lower sound quality and cheaper and can play free online song - Xiami chinese/english while Mi AI speaker via QQ music

edit: Mi Ai speaker can no longer play online QQ music since Jul..

How do I add my TC2 switches to IHC. It goes into a black screen and crashes.Anyone encountered that?

And for broadlink power plugs, Google Home can only detect and recognise Sp2UK type. My SP3US cannot be detected despite linking and unlinking broadlink or calling for sync devices ..

For those who tend to get the Xiaomi AI Speker beware that its online QQ music has stopped to work recently althought qq music still can work on phone without vpn ... affecting user at SEA, HK, Macau, TW, KR, US, Aus .. so far Xiaomi only try to divert oversea user to its Xiaomi music (very limited song available) and seems reluctant to react to this issue ....some users claim have just bought in upto 15 set ... dam jialat

I have one that failed in 2 days. The replacement failed in 2 weeks. Flickering issues even though my light is 60plus watt

I am thinking of changing to livolo.
Any review about this brand anyone?

I am using IHC, do you have any issue to ask Alexa to turn on just one of the switch of a 2 gang or 3 gang ?

Alexa only have a on/off for the gang, not individual switch. :s22:

Downgrade to the 1st few release of IHC and add ur switch after naming them accordingly. Alexa will recognise them individually.

I installed the capacitor parallel to my LED light. If your light flicker , it is best that you install the capacitor.

The capacitor is to bypass for example light so your switch can continue to get power to run the circuit in the switch.

Otherwise your switch will not work. But if your appliance is those like heater/motor type. The appliance itself already has some resistance and hence able to provide power to your switch. Then you do not need tge capacitor.

LED light, for example is electronic. It has a high resistance and not able to provide enough power to operate the switch. So the capacitor is need.

How do we reset the RF remote control for the light switch? I purchased a 15 buttons RF remote control and all of the buttons are assigned.

On my Fanco ceiling fan, the light is a toggle on the remote control. Anyone found a way to turn off the lights instead of toggling?
