I actually have 2...the one in my master room is working while the other room just dont turn off the aircon.

haha.. then this is really bizarre. Can't explain why it only failed to work at 0230h... Maybe you need to stay awake and stake out to unravel the mystery

I supposed yours is using RF control. It's slightly cheaper than sonoff but you will not be able to see the current on/off status like sonoff can offer.

Ah... Yes, u r right.. This is the same debate between sonoff and broadlink.. Well, the price difference is quite substantial if you do not need a feedback and just a binary input. I note that the price difference can be a third of the Broadlink SP2 or more than half of sonoff.

Actually can also consider tp-link hs100 if u prefer to have safety mark. Works with GH or Alexa directly.

understand the eTouch switch can learn dedicated on off, so you using 2 seperate buttons on the remote to pair as 1 on & 1 off to the eTouch switch ? and then you learn using IHC app ?

but just wondering did you try make it Alexa compartible ? is it still recgonising only TV template, sorry i very long nvr play with all these le.. lost touch. haha

Yes eTouch is capable of dedicated on/off. You need two frequency for on & off. Did you just buy eTouch recently? Where did you buy from?

I'm using Google home, not sure about Alexa.. sorry

No choice, the only switch in local market to use for water heater.. Yes I'm only using lamp template. Using which template doesn't matter to me since only using for on/off and can configure command.

For pairing eTouch with RF remote

(If at anytime when you press and hold the e-touch but it doesn’t go into learning mode with red lights blinking, turn off your main circuit box and turn it back on after 10 sec.)

Press and hold the eTouch touch-button until you see two red blink at the switch itself (top left) then let go. Immediately on the remote press one button ie button 1 “on” one time and let go. You’ve basically just taught eTouch how to react to “On”

Press and hold the eTouch touch-button until you see three red blinks at the switch itself (top left) then let go. Immediately on the remote press one button ie button 2 “off” one time and let go. You’ve just taught the eTouch how to react to “Off”

1 red blink = Toggles on and off in either state (not necessary to learn this)
2 red blinks = Toggle On Only
3 red blinks = Toggle Off Only
4 red blinks = Reset

To reset any paired buttons/keys on eTouch, press and hold the gang you want to reset until you see 4 red blinks, then let go and within 1 second press and hold until you see another red blink and let go again. This will reset the gang so that you can pair other remotes with it if necessary.
