Can't work as a TV remote since it is RF... TV remote only works for IR devices.

How to get your fan to work as a TV remote? i can only get min to work via scan frequency in the "user defined" options

hm.mm.. i tink RF oso can be configured on IHC 'tv template' ,just use the on/off button.

currently my RF or IR on/off all configured as 'tv template' on IHC which is linked to Alexa so i can use voice-commands to activate.

i seperately keep e-control app too to use when i wanna use app control as dats neater.

Got a RM Pro+ instead of RM Pro 3 that I ordered, managed to config Blu ray player, DVBT2 set-top box and my aircon. My TV will need to try again later it is RF remote.

The RM Pro+ doesn't look brand new and I found that it has some problems on code frequency scan.

Is your set s/n start with RM3 something. From previous post it seems that is rm pro 3 which is the latest version.

May those have rm pro 2 can share their s/n whether is RM2 something? Then maybe can shed some clue on this.

From the pic, it does not require netural cable. If I'm not wrong tc2 does not come with remote control, thus, may not able to learn the rf code in ihc app for Alexa voice control.

Oh ya.. If no remote den it can only use ihc origial switch option.. The workard to config as tv template (to use for alexa) will not be available liao... Thanks for pointing that out.. Hmmm

Do u tink Is there any chance to buy a 3rd party rf 433mhz remote to operate the tc2 switch??

So does this mean i can do something like this...

Alexa > Rm pro > light switch > turn on lights (yeelight/philips hue)

Hmm i tink Philips hue and yeelight got seperate app skill in alexa... Which u can directly ask alexa to activate, so can bypass rm pro??

Alexa - > Philips hue/yeelight

I have stopped playing with Broadlink RM pro for a while. Just wanna check, can I configure it to turn on TV and play certain channel via Broadlink Plugin app ?

Can the plugin app learn a sequent of commands?

Thanks.

If I'm not wrong there is an Alexa skill for Yeelight.

Else, this setup Alexa > Rm pro > light switch > turn on lights (yeelight/philips hue should works

For tc2, it can enter into remote learning setting. Not sure can use this to do the setup in ihc. I think third party remote should work with tc2.
