Hi guys, my Broadlink TC2 3 Gang bought last month from a local seller who claimed it is the 2019 version with built in capacitor, suddenly can't power on again today with no backlight like totally no power. The whole 3 gang works again only after I turned off its power at main circuit breaker, open and close its glass panel and turn on the power again. No light flickering issue so far and this is the 3rd time I encountered it in less than a month.

Anyone had this issue before? Switch faulty? Thx.

Guys , was using rm pro(non plus) on ASUS ac88u for few yrs with no major issue. Recently changed router to Asus ax11000 and that’s where problem comes.
Rm pro is not able to connect to the new router even though I set the same ssid/ wifi name and password. My other 2 rm mini connects automatically with no issue as same wifi name and password. I tried resetting rm pro to reconfigure but it will not connect to wifi with failed message shown on e-Control apps and IHC apps. Also tried AP mode but same results.
Fixed back old ac88u and tried pairing again to rm pro and it paired immediately. Again tried to connect with ax11000 and unable to connect at all. Note that my other 2 rm mini no issue in connecting to both ac88u and ax11000 automatically. Wifi name(use to connect rm pro and rm mini for many yrs)also set to same name for both routers with no special characters etc and on 2.4GHz.
Is it due to compatible issue with the ax11000? Will the newer rm pro+ works with ax11000?
Anyone with rm pro/rm pro+ with ax11000 got it to work together? Thanks

***update*** problem solved. Turns out that the latest Asus firmware for ax11000 is causing the 2.4GHz issue. It affects not all 2.4GHz devices. My ipcam, rm mini still works. However my android box, rm pro cannot connect even though it can detect the network. Downgraded to an earlier fw and no issue in connecting all my 2.4 GHz devices.

Anybody try using the new broadlink app with Alexa or Google assistant? Is it still same as IHC app,?

Wanted to know if new broadlink app, does the A. I now recognise the respective modes rather than Google on lamp, and Alexa on TV template.

Has anyone successfully controlled Xiaomi TV and the MiBox S ?

Although the remotes are bluetooth, apparently the devices have their IR ports?

Just yesterday my Broadlink stopped being able to control my Mitsubishi aircon.

I removed and re-added the appliance, and it only intermittently worked when I used a custom manual remote. The built in Mitsubishi remote no longer worked.

After 30mins of playing with the custom remote, Broadlink's Mitsubishi remote started working again.

Everything worked.

The next day, after a couple of hours, Broadlink stopped being able to control the aircon again.

A few points:

1. When the RM Pro was not able to control the aircon, I verified that the physical remote was able to control the aircon.

2. When the RM Pro was not able to control the aircon, it was still able to control the light switches (using TC2), perfectly fine.

Any idea what's the issue?

It should only amend if I update the app right?

Strange. Last night it broke, and came back again.

Anyone encountered the RM Pro having their infra red control fail?

I just got a broadlink rm pro+. I can get it to work with my TV and AC. But I cannot get it to work with my KDK ceiling fan. I tried setting up as lamp as what some users here said, but it is not able to learn the IR function on the remote. I think the model is K15Z5. Using IHC app

It works well with my KDK fan. Is there a direct line of sight from your RM Pro to your fan? You might need to play around with the angles and tilt it abit.

I just connected a RM Mini 3, and the ihc app can control my Samsung tv but not my KDK fan too. My ceiling fan model is W56WV. Cannot turn on and off.

Also any idea how to get it to work via Google Home to control via Google assistant voice?
