just got a RM Pro 4 , added my LG tv and added ceiling fan (both work well using broadlink app buttons)

any idea why google home unable to work to control the TV and fan ? the TV doesn't even show up on google home and the ceiling fan keeps saying offline even though fan is on and spinning already

You do know that RF or IR is a one-way communication and you can't tell if the ceiling fan is on or off...if it is switch on, but shows off on your phone, if it is IR and you press on, it will switch off the fan...This doesn't apply to light switch...

Anyone knows if the RM Pro 4 is able to control Zip Blinds which are using the A-OK motors?

Contractor says better to stick with the Orvibo Allone which they are providing. However, upon researching online, Orvibo seems to be a bad choice compared to Broadlink.

Also, Fanco fans - should be fine? Thanks!

Oh dear... hard in what sense? Is it a UI issue? Or unable to learn IR or RF codes?

The interface and the learning of the RF codes is not intuitive at all, and lots of time, the app just like hanged there.

Worst of all, I went to see Broadlink FB page, a lot of complaints from other users too.

If Orvibo can control, broadlink should be no issue.
BUT not all RF Remotes can. It depends on the RF codes. If it uses rolling codes than wont work and some are using those. YMMV

For IR, WYFY maybe? RF, broadlink is the best. simply cause it already has alot of codes in their database.

Possibly rolling RF codes which cannot be learnt by any RF device. It will require the code to be known and programmed into broadlink instead as copying RF codes is a 1:1 copy. It doesn't roll..

Wah.. I'm waiting for midnight to buy from Lazada... hmm... guess will just bite the bullet and hope it works well.

For rmpro+, if changed wifi password, need to delete and reset? Then have to add all devices all over again??

The BroadLink App seems quite okay, but noticed when setting up Sony TV, it says to use IHC for EU to control using Google Assistant.

Anyway couldn’t get the TV to appear in Google Home app but recalled reading about using scenes in BroadLink App to control TV. It works - you don’t see it as a device, but u can control it using scene.

Bought the 8 channels x 10 buttons (80 switches) RF controller from BroadLink and thought it might be nifty to be able to map some of the RF buttons to IR commands.

anybody have issues for ceiling fan with lights
the fan part 100% works but the lights part not working?
try turning off the lights, the fan has sound that it received the signal but the light does not turn off

original remote is the type where need to press and hold the power to sync not the channel type

What do you mean original remote working well? As in the original remote can turn off the light but the broadlink not working?
Then not driver, but that the code learn is turning on the light. Not the off.
Original remote turn on and off using the same button? If so it should work but that you need to relearn the code. Could have missed out some parts of the signal... if cant maybe the RF is abit different.

I know for mine, not all the codes can learn..

For FANCO F-Star fans, is Broadlink able to lean all the remote control buttons?
I heard that FANCO remotes aren't always RF 433MHz - is that true?
