Can the rm4 pro work with Xiaomi tv? I tried learning it but nothing seems to work....

Also, which app are you guys using for rm4 pro?
Is it the “broadlink (logo B with blue background)” or the ihc (which one? There are like a few in the iOS store) app?

Unable to learn remote for my Xiaomi tv 4s global set too, I think the remote is Bluetooth.

Has anyone successfully use rm pro 4 to work with Xiaomi tv 4s?

Anyone knows if Broadlink RM Pro+ or RM Pro 4's RF can transmit to 330MHz receiver?

My house autogate is on 330MHz (opened remote control to check) but Pro+ and Pro4 states 433MHz or 315MHz.

I got a stupid question. Can the RM4 pro learn 2.4G remote controller commands? I'm thinking of using it to control my fans and lights, but they are all using 2.4G frequencies.

No. It can't learn 2.4G commands. Only the stated 300+ and 400+MHz range.

I've tried it with my smart door lock and my PC wireless RF 2.4GHz remote too out of curiosity.

I've been happily using my rmpro for about 3 yrs. Now I'm ready to add smart wall switches. Few questions hope someone can help as I'm outdated:

1. As I want flexibility to control switches with either wifi or 433mhz, which is the best brand+model to get? If there are no such combo switches, then is wifi or 433mhz type more reliable? Will the 433mhz model suggested be compatible with my old rmpro?

2. For those who've been using for a while, are rocker or touch switches more user friendly?

3. Are there switches that work regardless of neutral wire? cos I dont want to mess with the provided capacitors. Still not clear abt this neutral wire thingie..

TIA

EDIT: Found this with combo function so will prob get it:

U bought broadlink rm4 pro, why not use broadlink Wifi light switches?

I just bought from this seller https://shopee.sg/product/117163069/5204536234?smtt=0.66118-1612441654.9

Msg him directly and deal thru Whatsapp he gave me a good deal. Super professional service, cheap and good installation, and was super supportive all the way.

Best of all, the switches integrate seamlessly with my broadlink rm4 pro within the same app. Price is pretty affordable too.

Can I use the TC2S switch to trigger routines in the Broadlink app?

What is the connection used to communicate with the RM4 Pro?

In a case where the Internet is down, but the WiFi is on, will the switch or the app be able to communicate with the RM4 Pro to be able to activate the routines?

The reason why I still use Aqara switches for my house even though I've been using Broadlink for way more things is the reliability of the zigbee connection.

How it works with the Xiaomi hub is that even if the WiFi is completely down, any zigbee device will still function. So I can walk into the toilet and the Aqara motion sensor detects me and it triggers the routine I set in the Xiaomi hub to turn on the Aqara light switch for the toilet.

Thus, it'll be great to know if pressing the switch can still trigger the RM4 Pro to for example, also trigger the routine I set in the RM4 Pro even when the internet is down.

Hi. May I know how's your experience with the rm pro 4 range? It seems really weak to me. I tried to control the PO Eco Ceiling fan and to even turn on and off properly, it needs to be tilted up. It is placed like 1m away from the fan only. May i know if this is normal?

Its RF remote.

I'm also using it to control my daikin isimles aircon but it doesn't seem to have the swing function at all. I can't learn new buttons from the remote as well as its default remote.

Any resolution to this?

I’m using RM Pro 3, and I need to tilt it a bit for my KDK ceiling fan as it is IR.

I’m using it for my ME aircon as well and I can learn all the buttons.

Hi, is anyone using RM PRO with Google Home?

It stopped working for me yesterday for some reasons. I can control the switches in the Broadlink and IHC app, but giving voice commands from Google Home stopped working. Tried reconnecting the account didn't work either (usually does the trick).

Any help pls?
