I tried to do online, can port over to free plan.

I see, cos when I did the port over via the physical outlet I was told need to take the min $8 plan ya.

Are you guys able to receive normal calls when roaming? I tried calling myself from simba to eight when I am overseas and keep getting line is busy.
Though no problem with data and can surf. Just can’t receive or make calls

Weekday working how to go ubi sia.
And other dealer cannot do termination.

Email the 8 since 31 july till now no reply, send them 6 mail liao sia.

Fyi, porting i think daily hv limit of 3k lines outward or inward to each telco.

So maybe 8 on some days hit limit

Go to Ubi, I went today and it's not a weekday.

Did you provide all the required information when you requested termination via email?

tried in JB. can receive calls from sg handphones, can make calls to different sg handphones.
handphones were on singtel. didn't try to landlines though.

Really tempted to switch over since I got the free Sim card, but I'll miss the 5G connectivity I'm getting on my Zym line at $10. at least I'll save a few bucks but using a non Singtel network may be a deal breaker for me.

I was on GOMO 5G, i wished for working internet in the crowded areas.

I briefly used redone for a day or two. And I couldn't even get any signal underground or at the lornie stretch towards Bukit timah. But I suppose it's a small price to pay for having even more data plus more roaming data to certain SEA countries.

for those ported to the free plan. anyone knows what happens after 88 days? they will inform you to switch to paid plan before terminating right? Worried if forget to change to paid then it auto terminate the ported number.

I was in Orchard yesterday for an errand. Completed and decided to go get my eSIM change to physical SIM (pSIM ).

Very pleasant bus journey to Ubi, and just had to alight directly across from the eight service centre's block. All done in under a minute, short and sweet.

Highly efficient service, if I may say so.

And lots of makan spots there!
