Having mixed experience with eight.

I at times get 5g (likely NSA) from eight. When it works, data connectivity is superb. However, lately, connectivity has been one or two bars. Even when it dropped to 4g, nothing loads. Maybe it is a starhub problem, but giga seems better overall. For the price for eight, it is better than simba still imo.

Turn off your 5G see.
Technically eight not granted access to 5g nsa on starhub

Duno, i buyed shopee one... But it does qhat i wanted which is basically to pay enough to have it to get the 188gb local data etc basic condition for 13 months

tpg no longer exist in SG ... the company is called simba now

What does having main balance do actually in this case since the mechanic for renewal is different from what tpg does...

I pre paid for my double 8 plan for 13 months, I don't need main balance actually...

That was my initial suspicion that eight block all by default but I checked, the setting is not enabled. I enabled and disabled, still buay sai.

Today requested to port my giga buddy to super eight in the wee morning. Chose to self-collect. Went to their service center at Lucky Plaza during lunch time to collect.. Surprisingly no crowd and their service is very efficient. 10pm successfully ported already.. damn fast

I think you have to try email them with the info… but I don’t know if they will update their system. Try to ask in same email if they will notify you via SMS instead

you may want to go to their service centre to rectify it. that's the only way out.
