So far so good. Except in berjaya times square hotel. Encountered 3G-ish connection there. Outside and most malls are fine.
Batam was ok. Went to phuket, also ok.

Do we need to change APN settings when Data Roam? GOMO requires to change APN when Roaming.

By the way, if I set it to auto-recharge from card, it will just deduct from there right?

https://www.eight.com.sg/faq-renew-recharge-and-billing

  • How will I be billed for my mobile plan?
The plan deduction will be based on wallet balance first and then the payment methods (Credit/ Debit) card that you added into the account. Login to eight account.
If the wallet has no sufficient balance, we will deduction from the Credit/Debit card that you added into the account as there is no partial deduction available for the wallet ?

I am in thailand now
So far so good, solid! The moment my plane landed in bkk airport, it auto connect to dtac
Most of the places I went, full strength, except some buildings maybe 2bars but accessible
Very happy with the data roaming and free IDD calls. Make a few times call to sg banks, no issue

As far as I know, the recurring payment via cc is not available now but you need to set auto recharge so that it will deduct from your wallet after you top up once is due for next cycle

If you've a card added, and auto-recharge is turned on, payment will be deducted from there.

If you top up the wallet, payment will be deducted from there, before the card.

Very importantly, the function "auto-recharge" is turned on.

If not deduct from cc, then where else? Not everyone will top up the wallet... :s11:

once your first recharge (free to paid), "auto recharge" is turned on by default. saves you from defaulter's parade..... :ROFLMAO:
