After doing this, still need to call in ?

"
Disable Secure Me Before Porting Out
  • Call our customer service at +65 8808 6868 between 9 AM and 6 PM (Monday to Sunday) to deactivate Secure Me.
  • Our team will assist you in resolving this issue and enabling the port-out process.
"
If u have already started the port in request from Circle to Eight and Failed.
You will need to give Circle customer service a call to ask them to help disable "Secure Me". After that u need to wait for 1 day.

After 1 day later, U will need to EmaiL Eight to request for port in.

No, only planning to port over from Circles Life to Eight early March.

Same procedures ?
App disable SecureMe
Call Circles CS to disable SecureMe
Wait for 1 day
Activate eight sim for porting

Just swapped over, port successful.

Will be testing over the next few weeks.
Anyone knows why the caller ID not working though? I tried calling myself it shows no Caller ID.

I reset the phone , on/off airplane mode, made sure APN is shwap, etc.

The only thing I haven't done is ... wait.

Signed up for Eight this morning with port-in. Selected self-collect. The good thing is can collect at any outlet. You don't have to select exactly which one.

Collected this evening and started using the temp no. So far so good. Speed is alright. Better than M1 Maax where some places no network at all and browser hangs.

Will update if port-in is done tonight.

Edit:
10.20 p.m. - 2 hours after collection port-in successful.

Amazing and fuss free port-in. Bye bye to my $10.19 Giga plan.
Thanks for sharing, it seems a pretty smooth transition, I think I will do it next month :)

Any way to disable the message "Expiring soon! 3 days left..."? I find it stupid and irritating for them to bug me when I have so much balance credit inside, and also have credit card linked already

They should learn from Simba and only send message when plan is recharged (or message if recharge failed). That is much smarter and happier for customers

IF u used Circle App to disable Secure ME. Dont need call Circle support. Just wait 1 day.

After that u can just proceed to sign up Eight to proceed the port-in.

Apparently no... it all looks exactly the same.

3 letters for 3 sim as i ported in 3 lines at the same time under the same name.

And the letter content is just a standard activation letter which has nothing unique and also doesn't state which port in number it is linked to.

The only thing different is the serial number on the sim cards itself which is not an indication.
Doesn't matter. When you activate you have to scan the bar code for the SIM card.

I did not scan to activate my 3 cards though, just entered manually.

The barcode is the exact same code as the above.

Actually i went to one of the pick-up points and asked, they said all the sim cards are empty/blank, it doesn't matter.

Important thing is the activation code.

Signal was cut from about 11pm on old card, did not test the new card though.

Probably downtime is a few hours from 11pm - 2am ?

I did manage to login with otp (old number) on new card at 2am+ and the eight website reflected my old number instead of temp number.

Waited until morning and got a sms saying porting is successful.

Starhub. It's only a 4G network. If you look through all the past pages, you can find all these information for all the 3 points above.
