When you terminate (online), you'll be given the option to either terminate immediately, or end of cycle.

But if you're just paying outstanding charges, tell them you're not terminating but just paying charges to release the line from any obligation, coz you might want to port out later.

For end of cycle, your new/next sim will auto come alive (upon insertion and phone reboot) after Simba terminate?

I click immediately...but they never terminate...so good.

Yes, they do porting on Saturday night.

Very smooth porting over process. Everything settled by the friendly boss, on my part only produced my IC and made first payment to him.
No Q, registration settled within 3 minutes 😅😅😅

Went to do my port in on Sunday at Ubi too but my line still haven't port over yet. :(

Email Eight and no reply from them at all also.

update:
30/8 - ported successfully last evening from giga. received sms from both giga and eight on porting. very efficient

Oh dear… is it your main line? Port in from which telco?
Btw, you don’t happen to have 2 existing lines with 8 right?
