folks, I'm currently holding to their free trial sim. if should I decided to port in my current line for $8 , do I need to sign up new line or can use the existing line?
If you glance through the previous sharing, for those without x2 SIM limit, direct port in is available.
For those already with x2 SIM, require to terminate x1 of the SIM and then port in once termination is completed by Eight.

currently in circle line mrt. signal good. same as my starhub lime 😊

I ported in 2 lines for my family members and received and activated the eSIM. But till now almost a week still haven’t get any port in successful sms notification.
i emailed helpme@eight.com.sg also no reply yet.
What would be the implication as both of them are overseas now?

received SMS after applying online on 11 jul. received SIM on 17jul but was away till yesterday. tried activating today with info from SMS but "activation code in either invalid or expired".... :s22:
tried activating today and it went through :s13:
now will see what happens next

Have you tried logging into the accounts to check the status?

This free 2 sim card is when ending? End of this month or year?
if u have gotten it you can check the ending date on your eight account but if you have not now i think only online can do (not sure if service center can help assist. if they can, u can still get it) before 31 july.

Wasted trip...simba can terminate online...lol
Got to visit them only if you've outstanding payment, like wanting to port out within 30 days of line activation, or having their lucky numbers for less than 12 months.

They have an App on Google Play store (Android devices) now.

Have tried, able to login and UI is exactly the same as web portal on mobile browser.

However, need to login with SMS OTP each time you use/open the App, as it does not save the login details (for now at least).
Basically the App is the same as web portal.
yep, just downloaded and use the app

the SMS OTP is similar to Heya app

but at least now dont need to use browser to check data usage etc

How to see if the app's officially from Eight, or written by someone else? 🤔

they say last time must go down, customer complain so now do online...lol
