Wah lao who ask you to buy Pro Max?? Just buy the normal iPhone model without the Pro.

Are you kidding? The lastest cheapest model is still more than $1k, even one gen earlier models are exp too. IPhone is so rigid too, merely changing SIM will mess up everything. There is no freedom too, their expensive accessories like Apple Watch and Air Pod are not compatible with non Apple brands too, it makes no sense.

Changing sim doesn’t mess up anything but iMessage and FaceTime, of which nobody really uses in sg where WhatsApp is dominant.

Signed a new plan with Eight yesterday with port in from Changi Mobile. Activated eSIM at 3pm yesterday. At 11pm+, still haven't port over as both Changi Mobile and Eight lines were active.

Woke up this morning and saw that Changi Mobile SIM no more signal. Verified that port over was successful - can receive call and SMS. Guess I am lucky.

Hope those with issues have a swift resolution.

First time I heard of someone using iMessage in Singapore. I only know that that app is for all the SMS

I spend 1k to use phone for 7-10 years better than changing android phone every 2-3 years. And goodness knows you change 2-3 years how much is the total cost, plus all the time spent setting up new phone again.

I don’t have issue with changing sim. What you mean?

You can buy normal Bluetooth earbuds from other brands and use mah, you don’t have to buy AirPods. The connection is just Bluetooth; you just don’t get the fancy animations from Apple if you pair AirPods to Android or use non-Apple branded Bluetooth earphones with iPhone. Not getting the fancy animations doesn’t constitute a compatibility issue. So, also don’t know what you mean

i turned off my SIMBA line (secondary) accidentally, and now all outgoing calls in my phonebook are all via Simba, not eight. Have to manual set "last used" to Eight. diu lei.

Now, my secret phone number has been discovered. sibal. LOL

I have been blocking those numbers that send me sms to promote their illegal loans. Will there be one day someone cannot call me coz they using recycled numbers?
