Ok. I will try my best at being CSO  But currently the contract ends Christmas 2025. Can you help me extend my contract on Shopee?

so the money truck from eight will come by later?
That will depend on your quarterly performance reviews. Remember to keep encouraging more people to join you for Christmas 2026, not just Christmas 2025!

Thanks @loganrunning. May I know which MNO/MNVO allows a change of ownership?

  • MNOs:
    • Singtel (includes sub-brand GOMO and heya)
    • StarHub (includes sub-brand giga! and eight telecom)
    • M1 (includes sub-brand M1 Maxx)
    • SIMBA (formerly TPG Singapore)
  • MVNOs:
    • CMLink SG (on Singtel's network)
    • VIVIFI (on Singtel's network)
    • Zero1 (on Singtel's network)
    • ZYM Mobile (on Singtel's network)
    • CUniq SG (on StarHub's network)
    • MyRepublic Mobile (on StarHub's network for 5G plans; on M1's network for 4G plans)
    • redONE (on StarHub's network)
    • Changi Mobile (on M1's network)
    • Circles.Life (on M1's network)
    • Geenet mobile (on M1's network)

confirm singtel and starhub can, present more than a decade ago on such polices

m1 is crap in nature in term of sop

mvno i doubt they entertain such request since this is not their core service
but port in to solve ownership transfer is the easier method

Haha.. sorry not top up, is to port in. Because i need to port my other number but don’t intend to go ubi branch.

For top up, i already use shopee to earn 200 coin from dvtec seller.
if i read their FAQ correctly, u should be able to do port-in from eight retailers
  • How do I switch/port in to eight?
    • Switch to eight and keep your existing number!
    • Select ‘Port-in’ during the sign-up. You can sign up online or head down to eight retailers to sign up.
    • Here is a simple guide to port in here!

Only happens in JB? In SG can make calls locally? Share with us. Thanks.

I reckon, just like Simba, older phone is “kicked” out of their VoLTE network.

for simba, my iPhone 7 Plus cannot log-on to the VoLTE network, thus i had to use Simba’s voice app.
I just used my iPhone 7 Plus to test Eight (and also Simba) line. It's VoLTE and I could call my ST line directly.

Charging my iPhone 7 but I think it may be similar though I guess no one's asking about this model...?

For change of ownership best and simple is Circle.Life

Yes, both Simba and Eight.

Not sure if there's anything to do with it, but I set the TPG APN for all options and restarted the phone before checking.

Pls don’t shoot me. Somebody asked about TPG and iPhone 7. I had the 7+. To make VoLTE calls on TPG, you need their app.

Really? I just checked and they say
Hi there,

Currently, we do not have this feature available. I hope that you won't see this as a deliberate decision to simply reject your request. If this is something that can be done, I would gladly have offered the option for you.

No worries, I'll make sure to pass your feedback to our team so they're aware of your experience and to include it in our plans for a feasible upgrade of our products and better services in the future.

Ok. Let me share my experience for my 3 ported numbers. All the 3 numbers i select the service center or pickup point as my preference.

No.1 no issue
No.2 issues with eight porting. Resolved by service center reporting. And confirmed withc circles.life no secure me is on.
No.3 wrong detail submitted for porting so have to cancel the sim and reapply new card and port in. Now settled.

All 3 is settled with the service center. You can also settle through email but it takes a while longer. But either service center or email still have to wait for the person at the backend to settle for you. No gurantee go service center immediate they will resolve. So up to you to decide to go down or not. For now i am happy no issues with eight.

Also does the transfer of ownership in circles is only for initial port in? Perhaps that explains why I cant do it now.

I no longer have simba physical sim card so can’t check anymore

BUT i have done everything I could. Some users’ also say must use simba voice app to make calls.
1. APN - checked
2. VoLTE settings - checked but dun have. See quote that i am attaching in this reply.

has anyone encountered this?
Popped in SIMBA SIM Card and there is no VoLTE function.
Popped in GOMO SIM Card, and there is a VoLTE function.

btw, it's an iPhone 7 Plus.

Thanks for the email.

The account will be dormant after the 60 days grace period.

If I interpret correctly, the number will not be terminated, so I can just revive the $8 plan everytime I go overseas to enjoy roaming.

Meanwhile, I can use other telcos plan to use for local data.

Yes but if it is dormant for too long (say another 60 days after the initial 60 days grace period) they will terminate the line without warning eventually.
Digging back my old post for an update: -

Previously I collected the free 88 days SIM card on 19 May 2024.

Today is 18 Oct 2024 and the number of days is 152 days after 19 May 2024.

So counting back - 88 days free and 60 days grace period and 4 days (after 60 days grace period).

I still can receive eight OTP when I login the eight account.

So my free line still not yet terminated. Will monitor until the day I cant receive eight OTP.
