#eightmobile #eighttelecom should also consider giving existing 4G users some similar freebies for switching to their 5G plans this weekend. Just sayin'.

No, regardless of Telco, all lines need to be active and no outstanding bills during port out.

Maxx CSO did say that base plan can port out. Eight so far never hear that.

Before end of mth 3, port to m1 Maxx for 1 mth (pay $10) and leave it to base plan.

Then rinse and repeat when there's free 2 mths promo during IT show.

Eight is more useful to me when I cross the causeway.

I guess StarHub Giga may need to have better offering to differentiate with Eight, now that Eight also has 5G offerings.

Previously the differentiation was good since Eight did not have 5G plans.

StarHub Star SIM Only (5G plans only): looks like not many people interested

StarHub Giga (5G and 4G plans)

Eight (5G and 4G plans)

2) Three tiers from SingTel SIM Only Plans

Singtel Gomo and Heya have very good differentiation.

SingTel SIM Only (5G plans only) -- SingTel even got Enhanced and Priority tiers with here. Lower cost plans have 12 months contract, including the S$15.28 per month plan.

Juz upgraded my plan from the $8 4G to $14.8 5G and received the SMS confirmation.

Checked my phone and is network type is set to 5G but not getting the 5G signal even after restarting my phone.

Does that mean my area does not have 5G connectivity?
