The main thing to try would be resetting the APN to see if it resolves the issue.
Although your problem is a bit different, I have encountered older phones that were stuck with incorrect APN settings, such as using a prepaid APN.

If, as you mentioned, both phones are experiencing the issue and you've already reset the APN on both devices, then I think only Eight's support team can assist further.
I recall a similar case recently where the line was not fully activated.
The provider activate the line again before it worked properly.
If you have the account details, you could try contacting them and asking them to check the line activation status as well.
That might help resolve the issue.

See below post.

Eight doesn't wake up at eight, so don't waste your early morning on it.

Check after 10.

Service Centre is your best bet to have it resolve the soonest.

I was making enquiries with Eight regarding the roaming speed in Malaysia when the Eight CSO told me that Poco X7 pro does not support Eight's 5g in Singapore and recommend me to lower my plan to a 4g plan.

I wish to know if anyone with experience will know if the CSO has made a mistake or that is really the case? From what I know Poco x7 Pro do supports 5g and I do see 5g+ on the phone.

So guys i realised something... 6am to 5pm and 8pm to 6am... Eight speed is (i am using Senior 4G)
download =110mbps and upload = 40mbps
5pm to 7pm\8pm.. download = 5mbps and upload = 25mbps. :D

I couldn't download my latest iOS firmware at 5.30pm. LOL! it said "6 hours remaining'

i also ever suspect the speed throttling is based on timing.

some non-scientific non-data daily experience.
for my simple needs, eight 4G/5G are adequate. Simba is my backup.
eight on value 5G, Simba on Superroam 12

last week came back to SG.
just before immigration, remembered not yet filled in SGAC.
open app, say need to update. damn.
on eight, download app update is slow like <unmentionable>. Estimated 1hour.
cancelled and used Simba.
Surprise! in daily life, i only get 4G/4G+. This time, 5G, download in 6sec.

over the past week, even though i still don't get Simba 5G outside of say, airport, it feels faster and snappier than eight.
(I didn't bother to do speed tests)

Earlier, passed by the "mobile coverage bermuda triangle". All 4 telcos struggle at 1 bar or no coverage at all.
eight went to no signal (as expected, zero bar). Youtube just stalled, as expected.
Surprise. Simba went to 5G at 3 bar. Youtube resumed streaming.

Walking back underground.
both eight and simba fell back to B8 (900MHz).
Simba provisioned at 10MHz bandwidth
eight provisioned at 5MHz <<<---- this may explain the slower/throttled speed lately. Used to be 20MHz.

Dunno if this lower bandwidth applies only to eight, or to SH in general.

There were problem with Eight port in yesterday.
Now at service center. Everyone is facing problem in porting in. The person say she already feedback n she can’t do anything
She feedback since 11am and till now no reply from eight HQ.

within 10 mins at the service center, there are 4 persons with the same issue.

I have already call IMDA and ask them to investigate and talk to Eight on this.
