After consideration , ill be getting either a CLA 2019 edition or A class sedan for now.

1) CLA180 2019
2) A class sedan
3) 2 series coupe

Thanks everyone for the advice

If you're not badgewhore.. can throw in

KIA Stinger
Skoda Octavia VRS245

Both cars have around 250BHP 350NM 0-100 in around 6 seconds. But the Stinger looks a more handsome, well rounded package, minus the badge of course.

why force yourself to have a small entry-level conti?
Regardless, i'll avoid 2-door and also CLA (it's practically a 2-seater car).

Do consider the possibility you'll have children down the road... what are you gonna do then? sell the car for a bigger one?

On the bright side, having only 2 doors means child behind cannot anyhow open door after kenna scolding and jump down bridge... When he grow big and complain abt space, ask him ownself buy own car.

I drove a 2 door before, no kids. More of a concern is elderly parents/relatives that you need to bring to hospital. Leg no strength to lift, let alone move to the back. If let them sit in front, wife and maid have to get in the back first, then no one help driver to support/move the elderly person or keep wheelchair.

Similar concerns if you have to ferry fatter people.

Why is CLA a 2 seater car?

I'd call it a 2+2, because strictly 2 at the back. The doors opening angle not very wide, but still a 4 door 4 seater to me.

I'm not big size and not tall...and yet sit behind feel so squeezy. V tight space for leg, worse than Economy class seats.
Unless maybe the one sitting in front willing to be the one squeezed instead

ok la.. +2 then. for children like RX8.

4 door cars almost all have child safe lock in the back doors.

Yeah I feel the same way. Besides cramp interior, I found the quality of fit & finish lacking for its badge and price segment. Other cars in the same segment fare better.

For e.g the A4 (detuned 2.0T) is significantly cheaper than the CLA180 but have a better interior + equipment list.

Drive till out warranty period and sell, then is fine.... If look to drive till day to scrap yard, then better find another brand.
