One men's meat is another men's poison. Anyway, as long as its camera is top-notch like current Pixel, I don't care about design. I use the phone more than staring at its design.

At least for me, it's not DOA (but I don't mind a price cut!)

iphone8 is out because it's iOS and likely to be more expensive.

Note 8 and LG V30 also out for me because they will be too big for 1 hand use, I'm very particular about this, the Mi 5 is the biggest phone I've used and I try not to go bigger.

Still alot of unknowns around the Essential though, such as battery life, camera quality etc. ESP ACTUAL RELEASE DATE!

There is more than camera for a phone.

Some people buy for the rarity or other aspects.

I am not sure where/why/how you got the impression that I get so sensitive at times and too obsessed with Pixel. These two impressions are incorrect from my perspective. I had no such sensitivity or obsession as described. I simply posted my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less.

A question to you, if I am obsessed with Pixel as you described, why I do not own a Pixel? Does not make sense right?

Correct, I did not force opinions on others, nor I had the assumption that others do as such. Not sure what's the concern/issue here.
