This is true. That's why Apple is making obscene amount of profits from it's phones. Their brand and loyalty are too strong. It takes many years to build this.

Waiting for reviews of the recent OTA update for the camera and also the ocean depth color.

Curious to see how the Google Pixel 2 will be like but I think I'll probably still prefer the Essential phone in the end.

According to Essential, the bootloader is unlockable. But that was a few months ago, who knows if they change policy now. I hope Andy Rubin stays true to his roots.

Anyway I'm itching to replace my Nexus 6P, gonna wait for either Ocean Depths color or Pixel XL 2. Hopefully essential improves on the camera more, so far seems like OP5 problem, good phone with weak camera.

I'm using Pixel XL and I don't find its battery especially fantastic given the battery capacity. But it's decent for sure.

Dunno why u say iphone 8 will be in trouble. Those who want to use iPhones, mainly go for its os, ecosystem, stability and brand.

Unlikely they will hop to Xiaomi just because of the appearance. In fact they will likely feel like it's downgrading.

Makes more sense to compare it with other upcoming android phones instead.

iphone is only good at standby time. when in use, it cant compete with the latest flagships. You can find battery life test on youtube that compares the latest phones with usage.

SD821 has drastic improvements over the SD810 in both speed and battery life but the SD835 is simply fantastic in everyway. i cant wait to see how the next generation gonna perform

If u game a lot, ios is way better than andriod. loading time + frame rate + smoothness then ios is still king.

What 4 6 8gb ram + sd 8xx also can't win Apple A series chip.

And yes the standby time is king. If u on Low power mode the stand by time is more gay.

Actual real usage the battery is meh. If u care battery life then andriod. If u care performance then ios.

U don't expect a Ferrari to eat less petrol right.
