Generally would be safe but SDIC only covers to 100k..Elastiq allows adhoc top up up to 200K .Safe to do so?

pple do hold more than 75k in their bank accounts beyond the cover.. so depends on your risk appetite..
What is the current adhoc interests rate?Still 1.8℅?
Any comments on eEASY save V?
I have a bit of spare cash, am thinking of putting $20K.
for short term i think not bad uh since it is guaranteed 2.68% p.a and only 6 years. v few short term savings this interest rate. can consider.

What is the point of withdrawing the interest? For those with Elastiq, do you guys withdraw the interest every month or keep it in so that you can enjoy the loyalty bonus*?
*Receive an additional 0.3% of the average monthly Account value for the past 36 Policy months as a loyalty bonus every 3 years if no withdrawal has been made before.

i withdrew to try the withdrawal process so already not possible for myself, also i feel no point banging on the 0.3% bonus, really not much for something u have to hold so long to get..For those with Elastiq, do you guys withdraw the interest every month or keep it in so that you can enjoy the loyalty bonus*?

if you mean elastiq, at the top up screen it does show the prevailing interest rate..if i topup this week, how % I will get?
The initial % for me is 1.8%
You mean there is a $50k top-up limit or total amount?Withdrawal is only allowed in multiples of S$500, I thought..? If your monthly interest is that much you could in theory withdraw every month, but yes you do lose the loyalty bonus mentioned below.
So essentially with a no-withdrawal at any time of S$50,000 - the maximum that was allowed to be deposited into Elastiq - the company will pay an extra S$150 in the 37th month.
50k was the maximum initial amount you can put into elastiq.. He is assuming you put in 50k and never perform any top up.. 0 withdrawal bonus he calculated $150 in the 37th monthYou mean there is a $50k top-up limit or total amount?
i believe prevailing rate applies on any top up as it does not record the "tranches" of when you top up.the prevailing rate will it follow on for the whole policy? or they can change anytime after I have done the top up
