If I already subscribe to ELASTIQ and account value is far away lower from $200k maximum, currently it's meaningless to subscribe to GIGANTIQ or Dash EasyEarn right? Just top-up ELASTIQ will give me the same return?

when the other banks started cutting interest, i moved some funds out to elastiq and now over the SDIC limit (at my own risk).

So far if you are still get getting the 1.8% its still worth to put into elastiq if you are below or not that concern about the SDIC 100k limit..

1.8% for top-up until $200k seems like a very good deal for 3 years with flexibility to withdraw. Almost seems too good to be true in this low interest climate. I also have this account and would like to see if anyone knows what is the negative?

Crediting rate for top-ups is not guaranteed.

actually i'm quite keen on easysave V - it's like a typical structured deposit, 6 years.

only issue is all my collective etiqa 'assets' already exceeded $100k.. so not sure if want to put in more or not (since not protected by SDIC).

those of you who've signed up easysave before, how's it like? every year just wait for coupon? i don't think anyone has hit 6 years yet...

The interest is credited every month, adding to the policy value. It is just that you will have penalty if you withdraw early within the 6 years.

Anyone know if I have made top-ups before, subsequent withdraw will deduct from my premium or top-ups?

The sixth year penalty only 0.1% so pragmatically the lock up is only 5 years.

should i sign up from policypal or directly with etiqa?

etiqa gives $50 to the referrer... policypal like no referral/sign up rewards.

the company (linked to Maybank) looks pretty stable to me... at such shitty bank rates out there right, there's really like not much options unless one's willing to take on higher risk and play shares/funds.

i just want something stable... work my money harder and can sleep soundly at night :o
