Yes I was charged in full and my collection is 3rd Nov
I guess cos your delivery date earlier so must charge in full. For me since later delivery i guess they charge $1 first to test card is valid then closer to the date then charge.

Though i must say its odd cos most companies will be only to happy to charge u first cos cash in hand for them mah 😂

Should be your first time buying from apple store. That $1 is normal.

Tbh my phone pattern goes like this, from s8>iphone 7>op3t>xiaomi a1>iphone x. I tried make myself like android, but the mess I just cant tolerate and at the same time the updates. Its just too painful to use.

Where else for iOS, its sleek and the updates keep on coming it. Example the iphone 5s, a 4 yr old phone that still get updated to the latest phone, well it could not perform the best like how the latest iphone does. But you are forking a huge amount for a phone that last you in the next coming years. Well this applies to those who dony change phone that often.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

For storage, im fine with any. All my photos and videos were back up to google photo as i have huge storage there. :)

One bad thing about android update is that you will never get the latest OS fast enough, unless you own a google or a android one phone. Take for example, samsung, they only plan Android O update like next yr when Android O was launch in August.

To get the best android experience, until now, you need to own a Google or a Android one phone. Their update will be quite similar to Apple, just a bit slower.

I store most of my photos on iCloud library as I need the storage for my iPhone/iPad back up anyway. Not to mention you can share iCloud storage with up to 5 family members so it’s actually quite useful to have photo and all the multiple device backup in one location.

Most of the time, I use android devices as a secondary device so not having the entire photo library on it is fine.

Actually I have gotten any Android one updates since I got the Xiaomi A1. Maybe I should have gotten a small Pixel 2 instead.

Anyway the iPhone X is significantly faster than the A1. Was browsing on the A1 yesterday and was a little bothered by the display lag. Switched back to my iPhone for browsing. Anyway the A1 is just a secondary device for me

Typical example of media hype. Fuel by craze demand and unrealistic expectations. Well at least, even pre-orders on 3rd wave should be relieved.

This draws comparison to the simplistic nature of humans FOLO (fear of losing out). In Singapore, property sellers are asking for more now, based solely on the expectations that property prices looks set to increase. There is no bottleneck ... for flippers ... just need to find the right buyer.

This is very true. Small little bugs ppl can take but not when updates can brick the phone.

If iOS 11.1 proves itself stable I'll update; if not I'll wait for 11.2. Rather have a functioning phone than a buggy one.

i consider myself a heavy user of my iphone and i've been using one since 3GS. i'm always an early adopter and update my phone the moment the new os is avail. never had a bad experience or issues with battery drain.

honestly, i think pple who make such comments do not know technology at all.

ah. think telco side got quite a bit of supply bah.

from Apple Store, 3:19 PM onwards shipment slipped to 4-5 weeks le.

Not true, I registered with M1 but got nothing. That guy probably registered extremely early to get allocations and M1 likely held stock for him until he responded.
